Children who have a habit of sucking fingers open bite occurred in which the back teeth are in contact yet visible front teeth bite open and tongue hanging out in the future. In fact, sometimes enough to cause deformation of the palate due to thumb pressure in the area. Ideally normal jaw U-shaped, wide, and not too deep, as in the picture next to it. Shape of the jaw as this is found in adults who as children were breastfed. Conversely, a V-shaped jaw, narrow, and in this generally obtained in adults that were once accustomed to being bottle-fed or thumb sucking. This situation also sparked speech problems in children, such children can not pronounce the letter T and D with the right, or stuck his tongue out while talking or pronounce certain letters. Generally, malocclusions can be good by itself, when the children stop the habit of sucking fingers. But when this habit continues much longer, then most likely in the future will be necessary orthodontic treatment to correct existing dental problems. Children who still have a habit of sucking fingers after he was 4 years old with a high enough intensity or frequency at high risk for experiencing dental problems or trouble speaking when she grew up. There are three things that most determine the severity of oral and dental problems caused by this habit of sucking fingers, namely the intensity, frequency and duration of inhalation. Pressure and finger position while sucking also influences. Pacifier sucking can also give the same effect as thumb sucking, but often times a pacifier sucking habit is easier to stop. When children do thumb sucking motion would put pressure towards the top and front teeth, and the bottom of the thumb will press the tongue so as to encourage lower teeth and lips, while the chin pressed into. As a result children can have a convex profile due to face the front teeth forward. Children who are used to suck his thumb or pacifier sucking is generally more likely to have proportionately less face during adolescence to adulthood, compared with children who were breastfed within a period of quite a long time and never have a finger or pacifier sucking habit.

When I was little, I was quite the thumb sucker. I remember being unable to sleep without my thumb in my mouth. As a result, I ended up having to have braces when I was in middle school for three years. Braces are expensive, and most parents would not want to have to pay for them and go through the trouble. I don't know how people would get their children to stop sucking their thumbs, as children do it for a feeling of security.

every child loves to suck her finger like a small bite or to some stinging and pacifier use. My opinion is that the child gradually grows he should be explained to ottuchi of these habits. I can tell you from personal experience that my children used a pacifier pacifier and two years ottuchih them just for one week and then remove quickly and diapers. Will just have patience and a lot of explanation. It is important that the child's upbringing. Have a nice day!

The only problem I see with sucking the thumb is that it will interrupt the way that the child's teeth will grow in. They will more than likely have an overbite of some sort.
