What do you like to eat on a rainy day?

It has been raining these past few days and since it's a Saturday and I'm not in the mood to go out, I stayed almost in bed the whole day and cooked my favorite chicken congee (arrozcaldo) and fried tofu. I love eating this combination on a rainy day.
How about you, what satisfies your appetite on a rainy day?

A rainy day calls for soups and stews for me. The best soup on a rainy day is a potato and onion soup. I missed it this Winter as the octor forbid fried foods and I fry the onons and the grated potatoes.
Sometimes I like to bring a mug of broth to the computer and it´s better than thenormal coffee woth a dash of milk.

It has been a while since I last made a french onion soup. I love this so much but I think it's too unhealthy because of the butter and yeah the frying of onion.

Before I had my special diet due to my chemo, I ate in moderate amounts all I wanted. Nothing is unhealthy if you eat a little of it. Our body needs fat, but we don´t want to get ovewrweight. As it is, in my country there are much less obese people than in the wealthier countries. Unfortunatly MacDonalds and the rest came to our lives this last generation and children are heavier and unhealthier now.

Oh yeah, actually I love to sleep a lot too during rainy seasons but after I eat (which makes me more sleepy).

When it rains we like to eat comfort foods like fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy or meatloaf or a big turkey with all the trimmings. We also eat more snacks and sweets than normal as we are held hostage in our house. We look forward to rainy days

It's always great to have lots of food in stock during rainy days because there's nothing else to do but eat and watch tv.

KFC!!!! Yes I know their mushroom soup. I love it so much because it tastes so good unlike other mushroom soups that I've tasted.

Spicy food can make the body warm, right? Haven't tried though spicy soup because it's not that popular here in our country. And I'm not sure if I can tolerate the spiciness. But I'm curious to try spicy soups from Korea and Thailand.

It depends on the temperature. If it is a cold rainy day I like to make potatoe soup and homemade bread. It warms you up and is a comfort food for sure. On the other hand if it is a warm rainy day, I like to make faux chicken salad with grapes and celery and served on pita bread with a light garden salad. Either way I do think that rainy days (and snowy ones) lend themselves very well to comfort foods and the joy of cooking.

What is a faux chicken salad with grapes and celery? It sounds delicious. I've been seeing lots of recipe for potato soup and I'll probably try to make one soon. I haven't tasted potato soup yet.

On rainy days, especially if it is windy and cold, the food that first comes to my mind is soup, hot and yummy clear soup would be the food I wanted most on rainy days. It can be any soup which is hot would satisfy my stomach on such days.
It reminds me that I have not had soup for quite some time now... may be it has not been rainning here recently.

I would prefer a plate of hot rice and I wouldn't mind about about another dishes 
Really, only a plate of rice would make me really satisfied in cold and rainy day
On top of that, when it is raining, I would prefer hot drink than eating :)
Warm tea would be best. And also I like drinks that being made from ginger

Hot drink is also great when it's raining. I'm not much a fan of warm tea. I prefer coffee or hot chocolate. Thanks for responding.
