Hey guys, You know the times when your small and you look up to your dad/uncle and say am gonna be like him/ I WILL BE LIKE HIM !! You knew all those things were just dreams but then again you grow up , you go to school, you go to college and then its over ! You have a zillion paths to follow down the glory side of your career. Some people wanna make money , some wanna enjoy life by doing the things they like the most . Majority of people choose jobs for the money so that they can feed their and their family's stomach and keep the fire of the house burning. But in all this, they forget to do the things they really always wanted to do. Are you a part of latter part? what did you really wanna do in life

Oh my, when I got into College, I really didn't know what course to take up. So I've decided to be like my older brother. IT/ComSci was not really my choice instead, I wanna be an Architect or a Pilot because when I was younger, I am so fond of drawing and stenciling and I wanna be a pilot because I love air adventures as well. However, I haven't been a Pilot nor an Architect but I'm still happy on what I have become today tho there are still dreams that I have to fulfill.

Hey geminipunk Never mind about all that, where have you been? How on earth are you? I do hope all is well with you, haven't seen you in such a long time!! When I was younger I remember wanting to be a teacher, then an actress then when it came to leaving school I wanted to join the army but when it came to it I didn't really want to that either. I worked at a fast food restaurant for a while, then a factory making fishing reels. Then I worked for a newspaper, got made redundant from that and worked in the shop of a gas station. Then I went to America for a couple of years and worked as a nanny, then to Switzerland. After that I was a cleaner in health club and then made it to receptioist, then was a receptionist for a law firm and that was the last job I had due to starting a family. I won't to go back to work as a signer and am doing courses to help me achieve that at the moment. Erm did that answer your question? hahaha Good to see you back

I haven't seen you about in the last month but then I haven't been on for about a week and I took a long break for about a year last year. I am glad to see you have come back though, that's cool. Yes I might well have seemed busy over the years but then I haven't actually worked for about 10 years as I have been raising my family and I am no spring chicken either!! hahaha

I always wanted to sing in a band. That's what I wanted to do before and up to now, I'm still dreaming to sing with a band or maybe a back up singer. That's what I want to be. But with the shyness attitude that I got, I don't think I can do this someday. It will remain as my wildest dream forever.

When i still a child, i looked forward to be an adult. But now, i am an adult, i look backward to be a junior school student. The time i can do nothing but playing. The time there is a boy i love. Now, where is he? How is he? Is he ok. I always want time could reverse. Let me come back to the happy hour. Foolish, isn't it?

I always want to be someone famous, glamorous, and renowned MOVIE PRODUCER, DIRECTOR and WRITER!!! I don't know but since young I really love creating stories and even in high school and college life I was in charge with dramas or any acting presentations. With my experiences I could feel that it's in my blood to be into such field. I'm not bragging but it's all true that I'm good in that skill.^^ It's really a blessing to have such dream!

I always wanted to be a mom and a teacher. I got married to a man who already had a 4 year old. He was such a handful, I was afraid to have a baby with him around! As for teaching, I studied diligently for several years and when I got to my student teaching, I hated it! I taught in a preschool for a number of years. Then I went to nursing school. I have been a nurse for 15 years now and most days I love it!

I always wanted to be a computer programmer back then even though computerization was not in full force yet during the 70s. Unfortunately my father did not agree to my choice of career instead he asked me to take up secretarial which never interest me. I never like the worms like shorthand that we were forced to memorize on the strokes before we improvised on the speed. I have never thought of choosing a job for a living but to please my parents for landing in a job.

When I was in Junior High I wanted to be like Joan Collins from Dallas. I wanted to wear power suits and run a major company. I actually joined Junior Achievement at the time and I would wear skirt suits to the meetings. I also had ambitions of being a singer and dancer and I actually did it for a while. I competed in singing competitions, sang with 2 performance choirs, and was even in a dance company for a while then I fell in love and I wanted to spend every extra minute with my now husband so I kind of gave it all up.

When i was young i really don't know what i want to be even after my highschool. All i know is i like to work in an office just like my dad and the rest of my siblings so my brother suggested that i should take up a business course so i can either work the he office or have my own business. I had several long term jobs in the office but got tired from it. So i took a short course html coding just to fill up my days with other things to do. I started making websites and realized just a few months back that i really want to be a full time internet marketer, at least give it a try because no matter how long i spent on my computer for days and weeks i felt happy though tired. I got back from Dubai last April and starting my new career now as a full time internet marketer :)

I loved to be like my grandfather, who is hard worker and very dedicated. He is successful in his career and i always wished to be like him. And also for his character and good attitude, i follow his principles.

As a child I was a dreamer. My parents tell me I used to give different answers everyday whenever they ask me what I want to be when I grow up. I wanted to be a teacher, a lawyer, a dancer, a model, a flight stewardess... I did became a model and was able to be a dancer when I entered school. When I matured... I realized the things I really wanted in life. I want to be happy and safe with the man I love, have my own business and have my family stable. Thank God I was able to fulfill most of the things I wanted... I still have a lot of dreams, and I am still doing my best to make them come true soon.

In the world we live in today, it is easy for people to forget what they really want to do with their lives after sacrificing so much to obtain goals that society demands of them. I think, though, that if people really wanted to do something, they would try their hardest to make sure that they can. If they are not trying their hardest, then perhaps what they thought they wanted to do is not necessarily what they want to do. Perhaps this wouldn't be a problem if more people took a step back to look at their lives and see if what they are doing is what they really want to be doing and not what society expects of them. I know in my life, I have done both what society expects as well as what I want to do and I would say that it is a difficult balance to maintain but not impossible.
