I won't if the job have high salary! Maybe it's boring there but always there is a hope for something interesting to happen and also you can do something like having conversation with your co-workers or having a drink after work or put something funny on your desk. If you have enough money to have a house, go to other countries, have parties with your friends than don't forget that when you go to work. This is the real world. Most of the people don't like their job. My job is boring too but i am at home at 6p.m. , have weekends and can afford going on vacation!

Humm yeah that's indeed a good advice, but the issue in our firm is that can't speak up on any topic with employees on working hours, its just that during the break i speak and share topics with others, everybody seems so quite that i feel uttering a word will disturb them. Apart from that my weekends are also quite packed i can't right now go for any vacations because i have just started with a job iam a graduate from college so its kind off difficult.

If I were in your case, I'll stick it out at first until I find a better opportunity. Quitting it abruptly will end you up doing nothing at all which is so much boring, don't you think? Anyway, just start looking for better opportunities and immediately strike if you find something. Also, while still sticking out and on the process of looking for that better opportunity, try to get as much experience and working opportunities in there. Get all the trainings and improvements that you can get and do. Still try to make the most out of it while looking for something better.

thanks dude, you just lighted up my mind with the things that can occur after leaving the job, I guess i should study the company from in and out. Once i have a good experience then i can set myself free from this abyss of silent enviroment in my firm.

In your situation I would keep the job for some months. If I had been there for some months and if I knew that I was never going to be happy at that place, I would start looking for another job. I would keep the boring job while I was looking for a new job so that I wouldn't have to be unemployed. A boring job is better than worries about my financial situation. So my advice would be: Givr the job a chance for a few months and look for another job if you still feel unhappy after some months.

Are you still in training? I think you will come to like it someday. Adjusting to a quiet environment is hard but in time you will become used to it and I think that 'boredom thing' will vanish away. If the situation does not change, its better you look for another job... but do not quit the current job unless you have other sources of income.

Yes i would say i wil choose the better earning opportunity with high attitude than the old one. But i be sure to choose the job when im leaving the old one because if the job is not assure for me then i cant get that old job too. So its some what difficult when i start to new job by quitting the old one.

at stat you may find your job boring, but eventually especially when you can adopt the environment- you will be happy, especially when your office mates are all cool but if not, you may find another job.

The thing is that some of my office mates are cool and feel like talking to them but others are just seem a waste of time, as they are busy in their own work.

i think no, not going to leave a boring job... but of course i would be looking around. if there is a good and better opportunity with better pay, i will move.. but if it does not happen, i think i can still wait and not rush to find a new work.

hey friend, i totally agree with you. I have a friend of mine who enjoys in a company because his work enviroment is in such a way that he can talk, chat, have fun with his co workers, due to minimum employees its hard to make that kind of enviroment in our office.

Well that would depend on what that job could offer me in the future. You are just a trainee there for a month which means maybe you haven't seen the real picture of the job yet or maybe it has a lot of benefits. Like a high salary, bonuses, incentives or anything which brings good compensation. It happened to me before, I was about to quit on my new job because I found it so boring that I wasn't doing anything in a day except to face the computer with a blank face. But when I started to be on my own, I hardly had time to relax much to think that it was boring because I had a handful. However, if that feeling would remain I think you should leave because you will not be productive anymore. But do not leave yet until you got a new job on hand. Remember no matter how boring it is you are still earning from it. If you leave hastily you might not be able to find another job soon.

Consulting company is very boring indeed. I have worked in company like this before. Its just recommending people to our company to buy the stocks. Its very difficult to do the marketing as you have to make people trust you. Anyway, if a job with a good future why don't you stay for a while and see how it goes?

Hummm that seems kind of good response, i will try and stick to the company and will monitor it for a few months lets see, how things work on? if this contunues then i better find a good job. Because no matter if the pay is high all that matter is you should be satisfied with the job that you work.

Since you have just started working and you said your still in probationary status, I think you should stay for a while more about the your job.I guess you have applied for that position so before deciding to quit wait for your status to become regular employee.I think at that time you have already learned the ins and outs of your job. And with experienced you can easily find a new job if you still want to quit your present job.

Hi,princelierocks.I suggest you to stick for such a good opportunity, you just wait and observe whether the company could bring you a good future. You should know that there are still many people couldn't find a job,so,if you don't like it at all.You may find other jobs while you are working at this current job.Good luck.

You will only be productive once you love what you are doing. For me, if I am not enjoying with my job, them I will prefer to leave it rather than pretending that I am still happy for that job. I will not consider the good compensation. If I am not productive anymore because I am not happy with my job then it will be unfair for the company because I am still receiving my compensation.

Hello Princelierocks, I wouldn't leave a job if I find it boring I'd leave if I felt I wasn't getting paid well like for example $100 weekly, most people who work don't like here jobs but they do it anyway i say if you are getting paid well stay don't worry if its boring just thing about the $$$$$$$$$$$ money lol well that's what I do.

It's depend. If it's your first job then I suggest you stick with it until 6 months or more. But if you have a good work experience record before then it's okay if you leave the job and find a new one. Even if the salary is high. Well it's also depend on you if the salary is really high and you really need a money then maybe you stay there until you have enough saving.

I work as a teacher and I love my job with great interest. If it were some other job that makes me feel bored, I would try another one that interests me because we can work better if we are interested in the job. But before you choose to leave, I think that it is better to find a new one first before you leave the current one in case you won't lack money to live on. This is what I think. I think it helps you. Good luck and enjoy yourself.

Years ago I stayed at a job I did not like for several years and though I did not have to work about finance, I was worried sick every day knowing what I would be facing on the job. I eventually left and did not look back. I got another job later that I felt was screwing people out of money (in fact two of them) and once I realized that, I would get physically sick going to work. Again, I made good money from both of them, but I knew I could not stay and feel good about myself so I did leave both of them. Today I would not stay at a job where I was unhappy. It is not worth the stress no matter how good the opportunity is.

Job can be boring yet meaningful at the same time. It depends on what one is after. Sticking around does not good opportunities would befall on us, and by leaving it doesn't mean the next job would be exciting. Passion for the job can be nutured and boredom can be killed along with time. U'r just there for a month, there's a long way to go.

I believe that happiness with work is very important so as to enjoy being fruitful although the job is not paying that high. So i think if you're already bored with your current job just leave it. But also be wise, don't just leave as long as you still don't have a sure and much good job opportunity waiting for you. God bless you!
