So now I have 0 mails in my MyLot folder! So I'm thinking of responding to these topics on my home page. Which do you usually go for the topics that are currently hot or the ones with no responses yet? Hmm.. decisions, decisions...hihihih

I would usually go to all except for the hot topic and no responses. But when all the rest don't have anything anymore that may interest me , i would also go to them, to respond.

To all topics except the two. They are meant for the last, when there's no more that catches my interest.

Wow Beingwell, you are great to have 0 mails in your Mylot folder. As for me, there are still tons of emails which i haven't have the chance to reply to them yet. I think i will need more time to online, to try to solve one by one of them. If i visit home-page, usually i will go for the recent, friends started and my interests. Only sometimes, then i will go to the other sections when i can't found any topic of my interest...Hope to see you more often in Mylot, Beingwell...

No wonder, you had deleted those old discussions from your folder. As for me here, i still have above 200 emails from Mylot which i need to check and reply. Just hope i can finish up to the current ones before i go on vacation...

If am in such a situation, I would prefer to go for 'Today's top discussions', once I have finished responding from the category 'Discussions started by my friends'.

I look for topics here, there and everywhere and respond if I find that I can do justice to them. I do get notifications from friends but it is not possible for me to respond to all of them. For me what is important is whether I can give a good response.

Hmmn. Responding to the top and recent discussions usually take up most of my time here at myLot. I always check the hot topics and the no responses sections. I share if I have anything worthwhile to say but if I don't, I just end up reading their posts and looking for another discussion where I can be "of service". =)

I tend to go for discussions with no responses because I want to give them at least one response. I feel bad for discussions with no responses.

I usually go for hot topics because they are the ones shown on homepage. But when I am in the mood of posting a lot I also look at no responses ones. Though it's not easy to find discussions you can reply to..they are either too confusing or out of my interest area...most of the time!

In that case kaplya, I would make my own topic.hihihi...

I tend to head for the no responses folder first...we all know what it's like to have discussions we've started go unnoticed for a long time so that's why I head for the no responses.

There should be a reason why some discussions have no responses, especially if they have been posted for a while already. So, I would prefer the hot topics over the zero ones. But top on my list are the recent ones as most likely it can generate real discussions.

I really does depend on my mood to say the very least. And what I would like to really talk about during that day. There can really be some good topics in either section when you really think about it. A lot of the topics can really either get really hot, real quick, but its still interesting. However, there are going to be some topics that get lost rather in the shuffle, rather quickly, and thus they are overlooked. To the point where absolutely no one rather responds to those topics. There can be some hidden gems in their. Most days, there is a method to my madness. Sometimes my method is rather pure madness. Still all topics no matter where they fall, are going to be worthy of consideration. The no responses might be a good selection of overlooked topics but I really have to say that there is many times a reason why some topics go unresponded, but that is beside the point. Still if the topic interests me, in the end, it really doesn't matter where the topic falls. I just will respond to it. That's all that there is to it.

I usually go to my friends started discussion first then I move over to the new discussions. I really do not aim for any unless nothing else and time permits then I "might" respond to either the hot and or No response. I do like the No response on days where I would like to be here longer and absolutely nothing catches my interests then I will go to see if something there I can contribute to.

Yeap, I also look into No response topics when I'm bored!hahaha! But now that I'm catching up before the month ends, I'd go for the more active topics here.hihihihi...

I used to go for those that had no responses but now that I have many interests, I prefer the recent ones. For hot topics, I do avoid them because I hate repeating someone's words- even through in dissimilar words.

I would prefer recent topics to respond as these one are active and might get the response back from the starter rather than going for old one's or not answered... discussions started by friends and also discussions from my interests are some good options for me on responding where discussions from my interest brings new friends....

Hello Beingwell, I used to check HOT and TOP discussions but now suddenly i have left that habit and i most of the time prefer to go in to NEW discussions because i like to respond first on the discussions. I sometime check no response discussions also.

Cool! I take time in responding to the new discussions,hehehe.. If the title looks suspicious, I wouldn't respond since I don't want to be discredited for my works in case that topic gets deleted!

This is something I'll still trying, as a MyLot Newbie, to decide. I tried the no response discussions at first, but then learned the hard way they can be deleted quickly and your response is wasted. Now I play it by ear. I look at hot topics and recent topics first to see if any interest me. If they do, I jump in. I'm trying to make friends with some common interests who have high scores so that I can look at the discussions they start. I figure if their scores are high, they are probably experienced enough to not start discussions that will be deleted. If I can't find any current discussion to jump into, I try to start one.

Cool! Let's do that bagarad! I hope we can make some active discussions out of their topics.hihihih
