I recently reached my goal weight, and now I'm working to maintain. I'm doing okay, having maintained for the past months even after adding to my calorie intake, but I'm worried about keeping a balanced diet. I eat everything except for rice.

Thanks for the tip. Though I'm not into eating yogurts, but will definitely add more fruits in my diet.

My additional tips so that you can maintain the right amount of food to eat and help it to digest easily. is to drink 1 glass of water 5 minutes before you eat and another glass of water 5 minutes after eating. You can also drink Hot coffee, tea or other hot soup after eating too.

You should work out how many calories you personally need to consume in order to maintain your current weight, and simply count them each day to make sure you're eating the right amount for you. You should remember that if you do extra exercise, you should eat a little bit more if you want to maintain your weight. I have lost a lot of weight recently and I am looking to lose another 3 and a half stones before I am able to start maintaining myself. I think that I would need around 1,500 calories per day in order to maintain my weight.

I envy you Auds, for not eating rice during your meal. But i have trimmed my rice serving too. Though , i cannot totally eliminate it during my meal. Well, as long as you are taking in fruits , veggies and proteins from fish or lean meat, you have a balanced diet. And don't forget to down them with lots of water.
