I Suddenly Realize that I'm New to Everything Right Now

You must be curious to what I'm about to say. Well, I'm new to only several things right now.
I'm new to being a housewife and my role becoming one is pretty great. Loving the statement from my husband that I know how to take care of him really well.
I'm new to my neighborhood and I love it here although sometimes during weekends, if there are no parties going, but loud music and karaoke till dawn! ;(
I'm new to cooking since it's only now that I cook regularly after getting married because I was always at work and eat outside instead when I was single. Yet, I'm loving the feeling of being appreciated about my recipes!
Lastly, I'm new here on myLot that a lot of my friends here were shocked when I turned on the discussion of spending 13 hours here yesterday. Till now, responses are still coming in. Haha.

Experiencing new things is really exciting.
It will give us new learning/s as well.
Regarding mylot, it's nice to know that you are enjoying it here now.
I am also addicted to this site and I never realized that I am spending too much time in here too.

Whenever you are new on something , you discover a lot about it and also about how you react to it.
So now, you know that you are slowly getting addicted to Mylot , like me ? I always want to go to Mylot each day. I miss it , when i am not able to do so.

I'm glad you are happy.
I don't like being new for everything. For example first week in new job is the hardest I think. So many thinks you have to learn and everybody is watching every your step. Second week is better. I like being new in new neighborhood. Its exciting meeting new people. That is fun.

I've experienced that too when I was new at a school where I teach. It was such a pressure and the feeling is uneasy. I didn't know who to turn to when I need something. And so I made friends right away. The co-teachers were very smart and competitive and it was hard for me at first. But then I turned out fine. They were helpful to me and friendly. Hope all is well with you.

Some people found that make a first step is really hard, but I think you already pass that hardness well :)

Well being a wife for me at first was scary coz I have to do this and that. But later on, I'm becoming good at what I'm doing and even enjoy it. That's what matters right? Thank you for stopping by!

Nice to meet a person like you ronadelle . You are new to all your acquaintances at home , neighbourhood as well as mylot but the thing most laudable on your part is that you are enjoying and happily passing the new phase and roles of your life . Actually we are new to all circumstances from the time we are born but our amazing ability to adjust and adopt in all condition makes us stand out . I wish you keep on passing the moments happily and enthusiastically . Many people have problems adjusting to one or two new things in their life, but it seems that you are experiencing a lot of new things and enjoying it. Good for you! It is normal to be afraid of new things, because it is the "unknown". It is wonderful when a person can embrace it, though, and enjoy all the good things that the experience has to offer.

Congratulations on being a new wife. i am now 2 years married and I still feel like I am new. I learn new things everyday. Like you, I started from not knowing anything. I also started learning cooking when I got married, and I agree that it feels good when he appreciate what I cook for him. Being married now, I live in a different country and I don't have permanent friends other than or relatives in here. I think that everyday, we learn new things not only about married life but real life itself. Marriage for met is a journey, and in this journey, I am walking hand in hand with a man who completes my life.

It seems that you are realizing the sweetest fruit of Life: discovering something New. Its what we live for as people whether we admit it or not. It is the driving force behind the very nature of Living.
