Why we every year enjoy birthday

As we open our eyes and start to see the beauty and wonder of the world, we used to give thanks and commemorate the day that we were born. Because of God's gift of life, we are given a chance to live and make choices. Because of God's instrument, our MOTHER/FATHER, we are then conceived and cared by them for quite long. It was then our practice to celebrate and enjoy our birthday annually not just for fun neither for a social reason. It is indeed a way of showing our gratitude and respect to our almighty creator and to those who contributed a lot for us to breath and live. Especially the love and care that our parents have shown just to nurture us to be God fearing and a responsible citizen.

I think that it's good that we can all celebrate being on the planet for another year. If we reach a birthday, it means that we have gone an entire year without our life ending which is something to be very proud of indeed. Of course it is also a great excuse for a social gathering where all of the family can come together and celebrate, and it's nice to be able to have these milestones as we might not be able to see some members of our family so often as we do if there were not these reasons for us to get together during each and every year.

Birthdays its either there is a flamboyant event or just a simple celebration is a good ways to be thankful to our Lord, that he gave us another chance to live and to explore life with his own way.

First of all we thank God for adding another wonderful year in our life.We celebrate it also with our love ones to share them the blessings that He had given to us.Enjoying it for giving us the opportunity to treasure the life He had bestowed on us.

When I was a lot younger, I'm about to turn 21 next month, I used to count the days before my birthday. I usually start in July lol. I don't enjoy my birthdays as much anymore though... my dad always ruins it.

We enjoy birthday every year because simply every year means that we have live for a year. And every after birthday we have the chance again to live a new year full of new memories. I guesse birthdays is a simple reminder for us to live our life significantly.

Hello ravalarun, Actually by celebrating my birthday i thank GOD for keeping me alive and gave me the opportunity to explore to this beautiful world and to please GOD to further make me capable to see this wonderful world for years to come.

For me, celebrating birthday is celebrating life that God gave me. The party is a way to share with friends and loved ones all the blessings that I've received and to remind myself that life is fleeting and that every single moment is an opportunity to give and share.
