Where can I find "The News Headlines" on mylot now?

There was a box with News Headlines on mylot when I first joined. It was the top box on the right hand side. It has been removed or moved. I see the box when I am first accessing mylot but now it is on my left hand side and I can only see it as I am accessing mylot. When mylot comes up, it is not available.
I believe that I see it listed as a blog as mylot is coming up. I have checked blogs and I don't find it.
I really liked the news headlines. I read them often and sometimes commented on them. Has it been removed or moved. And if it has been moved, can someone tell me where to find the News headlines?

Yes the news section just upped and disappeared one day and it was shortly after we underwent a site maintenance. There has been no information as to if the news will be coming back and or that it was leaving the site.
I have contacted Admin several times asking if it was a mistake and or if this is permanent. To date I have not heard back, so I am assuming it is no longer being offered here. Too bad because I always read and or commented there and now I am back to my service provider's site to read it.

I really miss it like many mylotters. I assumed that, for some reason ,it was discontinued but, very recently, I see it appear as I access my lot. It appears on your left hand side at the top as you access my lot and it seems to be a blog. At least it does on my screen. But once mylot comes up, I no longer see Headlines. I have checked blogs and can not find it.
I sent Alex aka Alice a message today. Let's see if I get an answer.

What you see if probably part of the old script. Because I am wondering when they did the upgrade/maintenance they probably did not remove it there. I did not send personal messages but chimed him into discussions similar to this.
Usually when he is chimed in with the (!) button he does come in and respond, and in this case he has not. So let me know if anything is said as yes I too miss it and enjoyed reading the news while logged in here.

I got a response back from Alex. He does not have the answer but he is sending my question on to someone else who might assist me. I believe he said that I should hear back in a couple of days. I will keep mylotters updated.

You are not the only one who many times wished that it was still there. This is one of the first ways that I ever found out about some of the things in the News and world that were going on. It was quite interesting to always see this and be able to respond back if I wanted too. It would be nice if they gave us the option, those who still wanted it to have it back available.

Headline News was very important to me. I got a message back from Alex and he was unable to answer my question but was forwarding it to someone else who might. He said I should hear back within a couple of days. And I will keep my mylotters updated. I really am missing Headline News. I read it all the time and often commented. I wonder why mylot removed it.

You are right. Now there is an interests tab. This would be a question I would take to GoAskAlice. No need to send a friend request just go ahead and send a message and Alex will get the message and should answer you pretty promptly.

I was wondering that myself. I really enjoyed reading and responding to the news alot and I do miss that tab. I hope mylot brings back the news tab.

It has been like this for a while now. I never noticed that they still appear when you first access myLot and before you are signed-in ... probably because I usually do not log out and therefore do not access that page much, and when I do I don't pay much attention anyway. When you get an answer from GoAskAlice, then please let us know what he says.

Try to notice as you are accessing mylot and before it comes up. It appears on the left side of your screen, at the top, but only as the site is coming up. Once my lot is accessed and on the screen, you can no longer see Headlines.
If I hear back from Alice / Alex, i will report back. However other mylotters say that they have already asked without any response. Maybe I will have better luck.
