Squirrels, rabbits and some insects get to our garden as much as they can. What kind of animals get in your garden where you live?

Our worst enemy here are the insects. Especially grasshopper and caterpillar (even though I really love it when they turned into cocoon and butterfly, lol). And also some rats, some big rats. Anyway, there hardly squirrels and wild rabbits in my area. Even I think I haven't seen one in my area though

They are bad here too, chewing up all the leaves on the plants.

Sometimes the cats are helping me to get rid of rats. But in the same time, they are also messing up my garden

I don't have a garden so I can't really help you, when we started renting our currant house there was no lawn, just broken glass and rocks. We have been composting like crazy and finally now that we are starting our 5th year here we have grass growing. We still find shards of glass from time to time so the kids have to wear shoes when out in the yard just in case. We do plan to have a garden in the future though.

For animals to get my garden, it would require me to have a garden. Which I do not. However when I did live where I was able to have a garden. It depended on what state I lived in, on which animals would stop by and do some gardening of their own. I have seen critters from different types of snakes, insects, squirrels, chipmunks, shunks, possums, deer, rabbits, cats and dogs.

Mostly we get the same you do. Rabbits are probably the biggest culprits we get but we have a big dog so they don't go out there much, except maybe late at night when the dog is in the house for the night. We do have a problem with some kind of bug that likes to eat the leaves like mad, and sometimes eats the vegetables. That is the most frustrating thing that happens to gardens here.

I've been super lucky this year. The animals have left the garden alone. One year, the green bean plants were barely out of the ground when the rabbits ate them. Deer have eaten some things before, too. This year, possibly because the dog barked at every sound outside, the garden has been untouched by any animal but me!

I don't have a garden. I have no idea how to garden. I wish I did because I would really like some fresh, homegrown veggies. Currently, it hasn't rained where I live in over three months. It is extremely dry and we basically don't even have grass anymore. Our backyard is looking pretty ugly right now.
