The shed update

Floor in - but not glued at this point

So, the project that was only going to take a day, has finished 4 full days and a half one. But... the floor is now in, so its really just finishing the trim, doing the windows, maybe some stuff on the doors. Of course, once the floors went in, we couldn't do anything for 48 hours (that will be later today 8-29-11.) AND we have stuff outside that needs to be protected from the possible rain later this week (what's that rain stuff?) So, either I get out again tomorrow early to put stuff in the shed, or we get the nephew to come do it, but there are lots of things that can't be left out to get wet... So, if you relate back to the previous link or use this one to see how things are going... http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.1913321351972.2093104.1210065193&type=1 hope this works...

It is coming along very nicely and I see that lots has been done. I do remember the post and am happy to see that all is going well. Oh gosh yes protect all the outside items because they can get ruined. Stay dry and I do hope it is not a bad storm, heading your way.

we could STAND a bad storm, but its only 20% chances for a few days, but that's more than we've had lately http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.1913321351972.2093104.1210065193&l=66bdc9e51a&type=1

I couldn't get the link to work either. I'll bet you'll be glad when it is done and everything can be put back.

I tried to check out the link you provided but it says this: This content is currently unavailable. I hope you get it all done soon so we can see your finished product.

At least you can see what the floor and walls look like, the windows aren't finished yet, but you can see the color plan

Projects invariably take longer than planned, and I'm astonished that you've got so much done. Considering the temperatures you've been discussing your time to work outside has been limited. You're lucky to have a nephew who is willing to share his muscles.

well, its the roommate's nephew and a friend of his tho the sister came the first couple of days and his wife on Sat of the second week its down to a few pieces of trim, the window frames and trim then getting my friend over to hang the light kit and putting in the bookcases and a few larger pieces of furniture we've had a cold front - only supposed to get to 101ยบ today!
