Lately, if you log into your facebook account, you might find that, facebook actually allow you to expose how much of your private information to other people. That also include your photos and other sensitive information to avoid impersonation, and identity theft. That is so much improvement since the attack of media and general public, in accusation of facebook expose way too much of our private information to predators. Now, a new policy is taking place, and we hope that less people will get harmed.

Facebook certainly did some nifty new improvements with their privacy scheme. I like it when you can choose to decide only those that needs to see your status updates and posts. The new photo-tagging system works great, I certainly don't want to be tagged in some photo that I don't know or didn't get involved with.

Facebook maintenance changes from time to time. I really don't like the way they changed the chat box. Glad that they returned it to the original settings. The point here is if you don't like to expose your information in public, do not put your real identity. I mean you don't need to put your complete address and your contact number. If you want to let your friends know, direct message him/her.

I have noticed that they have made some changed there also. I heard about it on the local news channel also. I need to make some changes to mine.

I'm glad they did that. Privacy is important. In the end though people need to be smart and not put sensitive information on facebook if they don't want it known.
