How do you attract people in your ads?

I am in a MLM company and I encountered a problem in my advertisement. My ads received negative comments from the viewers and other users of the forum site. Then a few days after I posted that advertisement, another user posted the same product in the forum site and the thing was the people on the forum site made a positive feedback on his post and said that they will join the company. I was so sad because of that experience and wonder how does marketing officers make their ads have a positive feedback. Can you give me some ideas or share your opinion about this case? Thanks!
