Cooking is also Fun

I am too learning cooking these days and too having fun ,,,...

Hi Mikaela_taz, I am a good cook as eveyone says I am but my problem is I HATE COOKING! is because I have to, hubby can't cook won't cook as he works, so I have to cook nearly everyday, but when I do get a take-out, I don't really enjoy it as its not the same, I rather go out for a meal but we can't do that everyday,I love my home cook meal but I just hate cooking it, can't win eh? I love cooking and I like making pasta. I also like salad, fruit and vegetable salads, the fresh ones. My friend is also a good cook and I asked her to cook some recipe when we had an event or occasion. Yes, if you love cooking...it is always fun to do.

I have been taught how too cook before but I'm really not that adept to learn it. I think it's just for select few, especially mothers. Although I remember my ex saying to me that she enjoyed cooking because of how she can experiment how the dish will turn out.

I love eating and also i'd love to have a try.Cooking is so amazing especially when you found that your piece of work is so great and other people is enjoying your work.Also,i think this is also a skill when we make a living.Cooking could make us become charming and anyway,it is a good way to "save"your friend.They will definitely love it.

I love cooking too but sadly I am not a very good cook. But still I try. The worst thing about being a bad cook is when the food turns out really awful, I hate throwing it away. I somehow manage to eat them and make my family eat them too LOL I feel bad but I feel worst about throwing food away. Anyway whenever I am bored, I try new recipes and sometimes they turn out ok-ish sometimes good sometimes bad. I just hope I improve with time and practise

Hello Mikaela. That's wonderful that you are giving cooking a try. I am sure with your determination, it will become a success. I am also not good at cooking at all. All I can do is boil water and make some coffee, and make some boiled eggs. So, I have to go out to restaurants for lunch and dinner, or buy some pre-cooked dinner packs and warm up in the microwave.

Cooking can be fun indeed, but a lot of people simply see it as a task and therefore choose not to bother cooking anything nice for anything more than for their own evening meal. If you look at any cookery programme on TV, you can see the fun that people have while they're cooking. You might find that you would have a lot more fun if you were to cook with someone else, for example your children. Baking things such as cookies and cakes can be fun, as they're things that you can have for days later as snacks rather than just for cooking things for specific meals that would have to be eaten on that same day.

Hi Just like anything else, cooking is also an art and only thing we should know of it to enjoy the same. Imagine who works in all types of hotels - like small tea shops to high level 5 star hotels also having cooks who make it as their profession and paid for life time. So, it is really fun and many girls or women are by default destine to do cooking and they don't have any choice or option and simply doing the job just like as it is the part of their duty. However, you have choice and can it be on your mood and taste. I think once you learn it, you will definitely will like, at least some times. Thank-s

Yeah cooking is fun. But i prefer eating than cooking. I personally think I'm a better taster than meal creator. I always burn the rice I cook and my dish is salty. So for our best sakes, I left the kitchen to my wife. My task is to eat all she cooks. Happy myLotting!

Most of the time I have fun while cooking. I like to experiment with food and spices. Unfortunately I have no time to experiment often because I'm busy with work. But when I do it I put all my heart in it. I wish you nice day.

Before marriage, I also don't like to cook and I can't stand the look of raw meat! But after marriage, I changed and started exploring and now I love to cook and bake.

Cooking is real fun, but the thing that gives pain is washing. I love cooking and also watch shows and recipes on TV. Nizela's cooking show is my favorite in travel and living channel. The best thing of cooking is when we get appreciation for cooking from our near and dear ones.
