Last night, I watched Legally Blonde 2 for the second time. Not only because I like Reese Witherspoon but also because of the lesson that it teaches. The movie talks about a lawyer who pushed on winning her bill to the congress. It's the bill of fighting for the right of animals. She stood and speak out for animals when they could not possibly do so. That for her, animals need care, attention, and love and that their right should also be taken into consideration. I liked how Reese tried her best to achieve her goal even though she failed on doing so several times. It totally gained her admiration from people.
So, mylotters, can you suggest some other movies that has this kind of story as well? Something that's about fighting for what you believe in? Share some of what you've already watched yourself. ;)

I had the pleasure last night of watching the movie Avatar with my 10 year old grandson. I did not see it at the cinema, thinking that it was just another kid movie. But as I watched it yesterday, I became aware that the movie was really about values and about two very different ways of relating to the world. I strongly suggest that you see it, if you haven´t seen it yet.

I´m glad you liked it! I hope to see it again, by myself, maybe tonight. My granson forgot to take it with him and my daughter will have to pay a fine at the Blockbuster whether it is seen again or not.

" On deadly ground" is such film. Steven Seagal fights about natural environment with a guy whose corporation drops toxic waste in the sea and near the ground of Alaskan Indians ( I think). When the man does not want to listen, brave Steven uses force. I'm huge fan of this actor because I know that in his privet life he does many things for other people.

Erin Brokovich
It's been a really long time since I've seen that movie, but she really put herself with the people to be able to do what was best for the class that her firm was representing.
It is great to see movies that teach these kinds of lessons because people tend to think that they are not really able to make a difference, but that is not the case at all.

"Erin Brockovich" is a story based on an actual person. She was a legal clerk and environmental activist that took on a big industrial company that was illegally dumping chemical waste, which was seeping into the drinking water of a small town and making the residents extremely ill. The chemical waste lead to many deaths, but nobody wanted to take on such a big company and make things right until Erin Brockovich stepped into the picture.
"Walking Tall" (the original one) was based on a true story as well. An ex-professional wrestler returns home to work in the family business only to find that the town is overrun with corruption. When he turned to the sheriff for help but did not receive any, he decided to take matters into his own hands and clean up the corruption himself. He also ran for sheriff and won, which helped him to be able to lawfully put an end to the corruption in the town.

I've seen the first Legally Blond! Haven't seen the second though, might need to check it out.
There are plenty of movies with a similar plot in which the main character will always try to fight for something, they believe is the right thing to do. Harry Potter, for a 7 whole series, Harry fought for what he believed in and for those he loved. I love animated films and I've seen plenty of of animated films with this kind of plot like Kung Fu Panda and Up! =)

Hello ronadelle, its nice to meet you;
I really miss Legally Blonde and Legally Blonde 2. It was really awesome. I hope they also make Legally Blonde 3 because it will be so much fun too.
The idea behind that movie was really inspiring. We should fight for the things that are right. If we believe in something there is no person who can stop us. We can bring a change if we want to.
Inspiring movies are always on my list. Movies that motivate you to take challenges are definitely woth watching. Some good movies are
