I like dancing with the stars

SIDE NOTE : remember my discussion about cowboys and chaps? *hint hint* Let's see how many just repond to the title... I found a scooter today that, with my current rate of pay, and if I don't spend any more money, I can get in about five weeks give or take. Probably give as I have to count in the price to ship as well as the price for title and registration. I won't be saving up for it quite yet anyway, I've got to get the 360 out of layaway. I've been getting good hours though, which I love. Here is a link to it : http://www.gsmotorworks.com/detail.cfm?id=415 It will go up to 55 mph and that is what I like about it. It will be safe to drive almost anywhere, and MAYBE just MAYBE I can get it to push to 60 mph. I don't want to void the warranty, but if I could modify it to push to 60 mph I'd be one happy woman. I've also got to put into consideration the cost of a helmet. I've read insurance on the thing is only about $100 per year, and the title and registration fee shouldn't be too bad either. What do you think of it?

The picture didn't come through so I don't know what it looks like but the price is good. I bet it is cute and has all the bells and a couple of the whistles that you like. I am not real big on the show you mentioned and usually there is something else on that I watch. It's okay though.

I found one a little cheaper that says 55+, and so I've saved it as a link in my email. The picture didn't show up for me either, so don't worry about it. I bet it looks like any of the others. My question for myself is, should I just go to a dealer local who can do all the things I need and so I don't have to worry about assembly and other things like potentially tags? I know it needs to be registered.

And, maybe, by the time you are actually able to put down a down payment there will be other options come out on the market. I would find one online that you like and then go to a local dealer and see if they can send for it or if they have something close to it there. And I am sure they can answer alot of questions for you. And you could check them out and see with dealership you want to deal with.

I'm not sure that the 5mph is worth giving up your warranty, perhaps it would be better to wait until the warranty expires to modify the scooter, especially if you haven't used that model before... I'm partial to warranties, I've had my fair share of problems with devices and vehicles that were supposed to function for a certain period of time. Good luck with it, hope you get it sooner rather than later, being mobile seems to be essential today. Love your titles, by the way. Normally I would not even open a discussion with this title, given that I deeply dislike Dancing with the stars, but I figured it was a gimmick. Me smart today.

All of my discussions are going to have whacky titles from now on. I found a scooter that promises it goes 55 mph + for cheaper then the one above, and so I am going to write the model number down or email it to myself, somehow insure I've got it so when I do want to buy, if it's still there, and at a good price, I can.

Why are you doing that goofy? I hope it's okay to say goofy. He'd make a good contestant on Dancing with the Stars. ; )

It sounds cool, but I think you might want to put some $ away to get your tooth fixed first.

Just a question: this wouldn't require any other kind of license right? I mean, I'm assuming that the cc's are small enough so that you don't need a bike license. Or do you have that too already. Goodluck in saving for it! I'm sure that as soon as you get it you'll be dancing LIKE a star!

I hope you can get the scooter soon because it would help you get around better. Will it work for you in the winter months because if memory serves you live in a state where it snows. I am not sure if this in your area but yahoo has a site called free recycler wher people post things they want to give away fo free. I have used this site a few times to get things for free. A helmet should not cost much and I would think if you all DMV they should be able to tell you how much the registration and title will be.

It's a good idea. It seems like a prudent investment, and it should last for a while. Modifying it to get it to go faster is pretty much certain to void the warranty, though. So, put down the toolkit. I know you have visions of going faster than 55 mph, but you need to keep that warranty in place.
