Last Sunday I watched the late Ninoy Aquino's documentary hosted by Piolo Pascual. I was educated and stunned of how much sacrifice and love Ninoy put into the Philippines. He been through torture and arrested but that didn't stop him to fight for our freedom. He comes back to the Philippines just to die and to see how he looks like after shot is so awful! I almost shed a tear to see his dead body in the coffin full of his own blood, his mother to her dismay didn't clean his dead body for the people to see what they did to his pious son. Cory Aquino is so strong woman to let his husband die for the country. They are both strong and devoted to the country. They are our modern Heroes. I really looked up to them, their braveness set our country free so we owe our democracy to them. I just hope that will be born again in different body and continue their fight. Thank you Ninoy Aquino, the greatest President we never had :(.

We owe our freedom to Ninoy. Without Ninoy Aquino, the spark needed to change the country towards freedom and democracy would never come about. If there's a second coming on Ninoy, we will welcome him with open arms.

I wonder how's our country turn out to be if Ninoy wasn't born. Awful until now I guess.

Ninoy was the beacon of hope in the grim years of Martial Law. He never bargained with the devil, even if it meant his life. In the beginning, Ninoy wanted to become president. His brilliant mind was rushing and he had dreams for the Motherland. Later, he resigned to his fate. He simply knew that he was created for the Supreme Sacrifice, and so he gave his life. The presidency was for two of the people he loved dearly, his wife and his only son. Thanks Ninoy...

I know he's happy and proud of his wife and son. They make his dream into a reality.

Yes, I do believe Ninoy Aquino could have been the best President ever had he not been assassinated. How sad for the Filipinos to lose the opportunity to be be headed by the best President ever. Ninoy's son Noynoy is never a man that could be his father's best substitute. Sadly, Noynoy lacks the good qualities of Ninoy. He is Ninoy's son but he was unable to inherit the wisdom of his father. How sad.

Hello Lanie! Actually Ive always watched documentaries for Ninoy Aquino's life and heroism. But the documentary film that I watched last Sunday that was hosted by Piolo was different. Though it is not as complete as the other film, I totally understand and knew the life of Ninoy. I really admire him because of his endless love and devotion to the Philippines and I believe that nobody would did what he did to our country. Even his son is not like him and totally different.

Even if it's so scary to live in that time, I wish I witness his braveness, I was so little then :(.

Yeah Ninoy is a great Filipino and should be treated as a hero. But we are dishonoring what he had done than to our country by abusing the democracy and freedom we have today. Are we really worth dying for?
