Yesterday, night near to 11.00 P:M , when I was on my studying asusual and asusual I was not studying . Actually I was arguing with God about my life , that I still dont have any proper source of income, I just dont know why he felt so bad , that there was an earthquake of 7 seconds came in Delhi( my city, the capitol of India). I live in ground-floor and at very congested area so sometimes when a big car moves near to my home with playing some loud music on woofer I can feel the vibrations on my glass window, I thought the same thing is happening but suddenly I felt my study-table and cooler are also vibrating ,(really it was very scary) I jumped from my chair just like Jackie chan (actually better than him) and came out from my house where every one I was shouting EARTHQUAAAAAAAAKEEEEEEEE, EARTHQUAAAAAAAAKEEEEEEE,EARTHQUAAAAAAAAKEEEEEEE, what to do now, I just joined my both hand and said to God , Ok I will work hard instead of arguing with you.... now everything was ok, everything was fine. yes, I saved the whole city but nobody knows that..... I came into my house and after 15 minutes there was a flash news on yahoo homepage " 5.5 unit earthquake in Delhi". by Dev.

My friend, arguing with God probably is not a very smart idea for you while living in Delhi, if you don't have proper source of income, then you need to go out and try hard to find a job or work to earn income, there is nothing to argue about on it even though you can jump better than Jackie Chan in real life compare to his theatrical performance. I am glad the earthquake really shake your head up a bit inside, you need to work hard instead of arguing. lol!

That was really interesting story. Do you really think it happened because you have arguing with God? Well it could be. You never know what was the real reason. As for me I have never experience earthquake and I'm not sure if I want to. That must be scary feeling. I wish you all the best my friend.

Hey friend, Thanks for your lovly reply,,, Yes, I am sure the reason for that earthquake was my arguments only. Actually, the reason is that The God dont have any answer to my questions, so whenever I loose my temper and I start talking to him in loud voice he do such to me. I will sure some day tell u story How I lost my bicycle when I was in 9th standard, just because I him some questions....... God always do this to me, he was always like that.....

dev1506, I am glad that the situation did not escalate into a disaster as in other cases namely Japan. I suppose it is through such incidents that we learn about the realities and fragility of life. Earthquakes and other natural disasters may be unexpected but inevitable due to our own undoings on mother nature. So, I hope that other than doing good, let's pursue purposeful. “The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, the education, the money, than circumstances, than failure, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company... a church... a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past... we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it. And so it is with you... we are in charge of our Attitudes.” - Charles R. Swindoll.
