I called a local shop not too long ago about getting a scooter.... wait, why am I saying not too long ago? lol it was like 2 seconds ago.. in any case, I had the heebie jeebies about it, being afraid that I'd sound really stupid over the phone etc.. well I called and a lady answered.
THANK YOU.
I was able to talk to her, be honest with her, and she was friendly and understood. They can deliver it to me, for only $50.00, which is fine with me! She came down on the price, which I mean she may do with everyone, but still it's fine with me...
I'll be buying from them because of the great customer service already, and so here I am on mylot trying to make a little extra money so I can get it a little faster.
I still have to pay for the 360, but I can do without a video game for a little while, until I get this scooter.
Oh.. and no need for a license, no need for registration, tags or any of that.
It'll be about $2000.00 in all, that's pretty much including the helmet, lock... and well maybe 2050, as I'd have to pay for delivery.. but...
I'm a happy happy person right now...
When was the last time you were glad it was a female / male respectively that answered when you had questions that made you uncomfortable?

First off, goodluck on the scooter purchase.
I think this is related to the topic:
I remember a few years ago, calling a studio to inquire about some classes, but having the heebie jeebies about what type of person who would be answering. I was hoping that a lady would answer, but I was disappointed to hear a man's voice say hello. So, I put the phone down.
He must have done a *69, as he was able to call me back, and I was forced to talk to him.

Oh wow, it costs to do that *69 doesn't it? Unless you have it on a package deal.. hmm well that must've been awkward. I think I'd probably still have said "I'm sorry I dialed the wrong number and was too embarrassed to mention it", or something like that.
Of course unless he sounded friendly? I hope the call went well.

Well that is very nice. I've thought of doing that myself to get into shape, but not yet, I don't want to waste my money. My sister and nephew go to tae kwon do classes though.

That is great! That is what business is all about- customer service! It feels good to earn these things doesn't it? I am glad to hear you have found a good company to buy the scooter from. It makes all the difference. So you don't have to get a registration for it or tags? Or you mean you will have enough?

If I get fifty cc's, which I will, the no. Any higher, then I'd have to have a license as in NC it's considered a motorcycle.
I only have my permit.

Yes, though now that I think about it I wonder if it'd have to be a motorcycle license. Most likely. I've had family that have gotten their motorcycle license. Their test was a little different, I don't know exactly how so. I think they had to go to a specific place and ride a sort of "course" and the instructor "monitored" it.

most times it dont matter to me as I have always been told there is no wrong or dumb questions that what questions are foor is to learn.
I pray that I get some one who speaks pretty good English and understands me also hard to talk to someone that you have to keep repeating what you have said!

I take the opposite position..When clients have told me they have a dumb question I answer..oh good, I love dumb questions because I have asked quite a few myself...
I think there are dumb questions and all of us have asked some. ...whether we are from lack of being informed or just not thinking at the moment.
My point is it is OK to ask a dumb question..we all do it whether we want to admit it or not.
We can laugh it off and move instead of being humiliated....

I think we only think a question is dumb because the questions seems so obvious and yet we still don't know.. that's the only reason we think it's dumb. There ARE no dumb questions, and there are days wehn we just can't "spit it out" like we want, ya know what I mean? Structure the question where everyone will understand.

When I needed my car fixed when I was in college. She found a person who fixes cars who explains like you have a brain in your head and not an "idoit" like some I have had in the past.

It's always great to have people who talk to us like we're human. I can't say that I've not kind of had the "aire" of "knowing it all"... that's what the problem is, it's just that the person explaining knows it all or knows a lot about it, and we don't know.. so they feel superior, you know what I mean? They're tone changes because of it.
