Nestea is Cruel tea?

According to a statement released by PETA (people for the ethical treatment of animals), Nestea, a product of Nestle, apparently uses Animals to research the effects of tea. The statement they've made says that the experiments are cruel and unnecessary, and I tend to agree with that. Here is a link to the article: http://www.nesteacrueltea.com/About.aspx How do you view this? necessary science or cruelty to animals? How do you feel about animal experimentation?

Oh my this is bad. I guess they should stop doing that to animals. Not only for a tea but what if other products of them have the same experimentations? But this is reality, I guess some companies conduct research such as that for the sake of mankind as they say, for our own good too, so those poor animals are the sacrifice, I still feel bad about it.

Well at least that's what they SAY they do it for, but in this instance it doesn't make any sense at all, especially seeing as how humans have been drinking tea for centuries, and its benefits are already well known.

I had no idea! I don't know that I ever bought their products, but you can bet I won't now.

I won't be buying their products any more either. I'm pretty label-concious already, but now I'll be looking at WHO makes my food as well as what's in it.

Oh no not this product! Not anymore! I thought companies have already stopped doing this. Why would they still use them on animals? I mean I am quite sure that we humans and animals would not have the same reaction to the same thing.. Using them for food and even cosmetics would not yield the same results! This is too much to bear, I love nestea, I'm not supporting them though after this?

In general I do the opposite of what PETA says because they are usually full of it. I will volunteer to try out the new chocolate flavers.

wow! even nestea doing experiments??? i don't understand how the law accept it? animals should live their life in peace and not be abused by people. is only our life precious and we can kill or turture other creatures? i stop drinking nestea from now ( it was my favorite drink!)
