what do you think is the most unforgivable thing in the world?

We have different ideas, we have diferent beliefs, we have our own decisions, we know what is good, what is bad, right, and whatever we think is for us it can really be different for all of us to decide what is forgivable or not, perhaps we could also have the same thoughts, maybe?
I have not really decided which one is unforgivable to me, maybe it could be one of these:
1. betrayal of trust
2. backstabbing a friend, a family
3. fighting over money when you are relatives
4. killing someone, knowing that person you killed or not.
5. Rape! especially raping a child.

If I had to pick one thing out of your list (no. 1 and 2 are the same for me) it's RAPE. With rape you have to live a life time.
Fighting about money I care the less about as long as they keep me out of it.
Betrayal/backstabbing means exit for me.

you're welcome. It doesn't mean I tolerate murder but it's hard to say all murders are the same. For example that man who shot his son in law lately (in Russia). Both were hunting and the son in law thought it would be funny to scare his father in law by pretending he is a wild boar...

Everything on your list is high crime. But for me, the top of the list would be betrayal of trust. I think this is the primary or the root of the problem which leads to the remaining items on the list.
Personally, I had experienced being betrayed. And it sucked real hard. I find it hard to forgive considering that trust is not a common thing that I just give to just about anyone. When someone deliberately betrays me, I forget all the good things we ever had together, thinking that all of it were just for "show".
Somehow I will learn to forgive. But I gotta admit, it would be darn hard and it will take time to heal.

And oh, just as I may add, I don't mean that rape is forgivable..it's not. But personally I picked betrayal of trust because I think it is the main cause of all acts mentioned on your list.

Hello chiyosan, i think rape of a child is the most horrible and unforgivable thing because that the act by which a child is physically as well as mentally effected.Victim of the rape has to suffer the mental trauma for whole life and if it is a child it is more bitter.

All mentioned by you are unforgivable though they vary in gravity.Raping a child cannot be compared to the betrayal of trust. .In my opinion the cruelty to children and physically or mentally handicapped are the worst. Also cruelty to aged parents.
