What causes a computer to crash on a certain google website?

Okay... this isn't about me... but someone I know can't access a certain blog and Google site... whenever this person does go on the sites, her computer crashes and her husband has to fix it.. if her hubby isn't around she has to wait until he is. She has been without a computer for as much as 2 weeks after getting on to a Google site or blogger. No one else I know (who accesses these same sites) has any problems. I asked her to get a gmail account, and she said it wouldn't help. I was thinking it was her browser, so maybe she should get google chrome... but this person isn't willing to try it due to the fear of crashing again. Any reasons for a person's computer to crash on a specific website, that is perfectly okay for everyone else? Thanks in advance.

Since you say it only happens to this person, would she have all her updates installed and or all updated drivers? Reason why I am asking is that maybe some features are not updated which then tends to not allow here to visit certain sites. I have also heard that some browsers don't necessarily work well on certain sites. I have my Firefox updated and to date have not experienced this.

I hope she has figured out the issue by now as I know how frustrating it is when we are not able to use our computers. I am without internet since yesterday, and today I was able to tap into wifi from someone in the neighborhood. lol Hoping it lasts for a bit as my service people will not be out until tomorrow. Thank you for the BR!

I don't know if that is her trouble or not. Surely her hubby updates it when he gets it to come back online after a crash. He has to fix it. It's not usable at all after she visits certain sites and she needs to go to these sites to keep up with work details for our business. No one else has this problem.

I'm not really sure. It could be a server issue, a firewall issue or an antivirus software blockage problem.
