Why can't Grannies model for catalog clothes?

I saw these catalogs. The women that wear the clothes are older and more conservative minded with the clothing sold in the catalogs. There are catalogs that women identify on a regular basis despite of looks. Some women rather dress according to their age and catalogs like Blair, Old Pueblo Traders and Alfred Dunner are more prone to older crowds. Women of all ages deserve to be treated as queens.

I think it's Lands End that has one model with gray hair. She models the "traditional" style of clothing and looks quite comfortable in them. I don't know of any others, though. I wish there were more older women modeling, though!

I don't remember the commercials (I don't watch TV), but I agree as to how beautiful those women are. Of course, I suspect they spend money to be like that.

Remember the fosamax commercials during 2005-2007? I hope I look that good when I get older. Laura Hutton and Anne Margaret are the most beautiful women I have ever seen too at the 50+ age...as well as Raquel Welsh

Hi samafayla33, Yes, it is a good idea if a catalog should have grannies as model on the front cover. They also need fashion statement on clothes despite their old age. Good design of clothes featuring their age group will make them look refreshing, elegant and lovely.

classic designs are okay, but most the models in the catalogs that my mom and auntie look at are 55+ years old and the models are young and don't look happy in the clothes they are wearing, so why not let the 55+ crowd feel young and sexy in those clothes?

I think all women deserve to be recognized also. It should not matter what age they are, race, weight or what they look like.

I know, it's like that..My mom and aunt look at these catalogs all the time and they have women in them that look unhappy wearing the clothes. I should have said 55+ crowd
