Topping on Nachos

I love to make nachos. Usually I will just put some salsa on top and then some sharp cheddar cheese. Then I will melt them in the microwave. Sometimes when we got out to eat I'll order the nachos where they put salsa, cheese, peppers, sour cream and beans on top. Those are good too. What kinds of toppings do you like on your nachos?

For my nachos i get the tortellas and cut them in chip size then fry them. For the cheese i get the cambells feasta nacho cheese. I add very little milk to thin it some. However im planning to make my own tortellas now with that mesa flour. Theres a mexican store up the street where i can get a tortella press but until then i will roll them out. I used to make them when i was married so its not like its anything new to me. Its actually pretty easy. The flour tortellas are a little harder but i see now there is a special flour for them too so im gonna try.

This is probably going to sound crazy to u but i have never eaten nachos. I'm sure i would like them & i know i would like them w/all the toppings u mentioned.

I've led a sheltered life, NOT.LOL. I very seldom eat out but i will give them a try if i get the opportunity. Have a good one.

Funny you should ask!! Tonight my husband and I ordered a Taco Salad for dinner.
We had some nacho chips on top, but the salad was a mix of dark green leafy vegetables, tomatoes, avocado, grated cheese, and a jalapeno dressing, with a side of chili. It was really REALLY good!!!! We had one on Cinqo De Mayo too. :)

black olives,sometimes guacamole with the beans..more that one type of cheese,onions..it really depends on what i'm in the mood for.but beans and cheese are a must.

If we make nachos at home, we'll brown hamburger meat put in taco seasoning, and top it melted velveeta cheese with rotel in it, and I like refried beans and black olives on mine too. Now I'm getting hungry for nachos..lol

Those are the toppings that I like on mine too. I like some ground beef on mine also. I am craving them now LOL.

It is so rich with toppings. My nachos are not as rich as yours. I only have salsa and some cheese on it and to me this is already enjoyable. But how much more if I'd add more like guacamole, sour cream and beans! I think that would really taste very great! I think I am doing that tonight. Thanks for the tip!

My ex - girlfriend once brought me to this Mexican restaurant, and she ordered me this super nachos, they are purely delicious. I missed that. I would have some melted cheese on top of my nacho, and I don't know what else I can put on top of it. Gosh, now you mentioned about nachos, I just want to order one for myself.
