Sometimes I write my journal letters to God to calm me down from my heart beating too fast, and other problems that bother me as before I wouldn't know how to deal with those problems. Later, I find it wasn't so crazy at all because others feel the same way because it's called a prayer journal, do you do this?

I used to do that too but it really didn't help me. I find it better to pray or talk with someone who really does care and can help.

That sounds neat, I once had alot of pen-pals I used to write, but I lost contact with them. I wrote to people from Trinidad/Tombago, Kuwait, United States,China, Japan and places like that. I wanted to get letters but I wasn't that great at writing. I didn't tell loved ones how I felt about things because it hurt me to say certain things. I didn't know how to express myself in away that wouldn't make them mad with me so I brought it to God.

Thank you, I write it in notebooks, my past notebooks don't reflect the way I feel now, so I threw them away. I know if there was a curious garbage man, but I am glad I got it off my chest because it bothered me. :)

I used to write it out but have not done that for a very long time. I just pray about it now without writing it out.

I call my daily journal a "prayer journal". I'm not always making direct comments at God, but I've always considered my daily entries letters to God. I write what happened during the day and what's on my mind. Sometimes what's on my mind isn't so pretty, but I figure God can handle the unpretty... David's Psalms weren't always happy and glowing.

I like that God can handle the unpretty from the extremely ugly to the things them so small that filth can be clean white skin again. :) Sometimes we think we are so unclean til God can't change things. God's watching whether we want him to or not and hopefully he'll take charge of washing us clean when we need it

well writing a letters to God would be an amazing thing to do by expressing your daily problems and struggles to HIm from now and then although i dont do this really but i think its a cool idea. Sharing your thoughts to HIm like a real friend, father or mother a guardian and a sister or brother maybe is a nice thing to do because you seems like your just telling your worries to someone you are close with although you know the fact that Hes not with you that he exist thru faith. i like this idea prolly will be doing this later on..

lol, sharing thoughts with HIm is what we do on a regular basis and yes like a sister, brother and loved one is good too, but it's different with God cause he knows anyway, but if we tell him out of our own mind, it'll probably be good too.

If I am in the midst of trouble or problems, I can't have the strength to write it down. I just pause then Pray. If I am angry, I will just pause and pray to prevent speaking words that are not intended to comes out. Yes, your prayer journal may help you deal with problems. But the ultimate source of solutions to life's problems is God because he is the creator of life. I keep on reading my Bible, praying and have devotion to God because he told me that He never leave me , nor forsake me if I am in the midst of the problem. He also promise that the temptation we are experiencing right now is just common to a man and we be able to solve it. Just walk with God.

I'm not a reader and it is hard to understand the Bible so I just pray.

Keeping track of what you read in the bible, the people you pray for, and other things is a great idea. Some people keep notes in church, temple or where ever they worship. I used to do that when I was a teen but I don't do that much anymore. I find myself communicating jusst a little bit more. I like reading http://www.odb.org online. It's a really great devotional followed up by the http://www.biblegateway.com. It makes life easy. :)
