My sister has a homework for his Religion subject about the existence of God. I just want to get your opinion re on this matter. For those who believe in God I know your reason why you have faith, believe and rely on Him. And for those non-believers i don't know why. Can you give your opinion why you believe or don't believe to the existence of God? Thank you for your cooperation in advance!

Which God? Because there have been hundreds of them, and hundreds of Goddesses over the milennia. The existence of none of them has been proven, and whichever God it is you are talking about, well his religion will tell you that all the others were false Gods, since no one could prove their existence. At the same time, nobody can prove the existence of the new one either. Is this a good enough reason for not believing in God(s)? They are all made by humankind, each reflecting the needs and attitudes of those who create them, thus giving authority to the attitudes and things they believe in - a circular argument, but who expects logic in religion? God(s) exists only insofar as someone believes in him/them. Thus the modern philosophical belief in Small Gods and Big Gods - depending on their following (thank you St. Terry). Lash

Not my opinion, the result of years of study by some of the most intelligent and learned men and women in history. Do you have an answer to the question of why all other Gods are false Gods (to your religion), but your God is not? And if you believe in your God, and someone else believes in his/her God, and both of you have complete faith, what makes you right and the other person wrong? Or are both of you right? In which case, how can either of you claim that your God is the only God? I'm not being nasty here, I sincerely don't understand how anyone can believe in the face of all the contradictions within and between religions and versions of God. Lash

Yes, most of us believe on God. Even we don't see Him we feel Him. And that is our different from those who do not believe on Him. The indescribable feeling we felt whenever we talk to Him. Feel sorry for non-believers because they don't know that feeling.. God Bless you dear! Nice day!

I do believe in higher being. Why? because i believe that in order something to exist then someone must create them. I'm gonna use a computer games as an analogy. Inside computer games there's a character and in every character there's a rule of what he can do and what he cannot do. Game character is always follow the rule given by the creator. If the game creator didn't put rule about gravity then the character can float on game universe. The creator himself is outside the game universe. Some people have theory that human come from alien, but i think if alien exist, the alien is also part of the game character. Maybe in proggraming analogy its kind a compiler where compiler itself is a program but it produce another program, but the program itself is designed by the programmer not the compiler.

Will try to answer the question. I believe in God. Non existence of God is a possible consideration in philosophy and can be argued as irrelevant in science. Some people will state they do not believe in God because the logic they follow will not actually allow it. To understand this statement, consider that some people do not believe that free will exists. On the other hand, sometimes people associate religion solely with God (God=religion). They may have had a negative experience or they can only see the dark side of what religion(s)represents to them or has done and then connect it to God. In other words, they see religion as bad or false(some things have been in history) and therefore do not wish to believe in it as it goes against their value system. The opposite is true with those whom believe in God. Hope this has helped in some small way.

i can just say the absence of evil is god. and my one of the motto is "if something goes according to u, u are really lucky, but u are even more lucky when things doesnt go according to u, becoz they go according to god" and i have faced many tough situations where many people lose hope. but i still dont believe how did i face them alone. thanks to god for this. thats all what i can say.

i believe in God because of all the things that i see and feel around me. just waking up everyday is a very reason why i should believe that there is indeed a God who watches over us when we sleep and who gave us new life everyday that we wake up. aside from this just looking at my family is enough for me to believe that God is there :)

I believe and have faith in God because He is the creator of all things. He give me air to breath and have life. He guided me in the path where I'm going to be with. He blessed me with a happy life. That's why I rely on Him all the time by doing all His commandments based in the Bible and live with it.

I fel lucky to have been born as Christian. I firmly believe in God because I feel his presence in my life. His Divine guidance has made me for what I am now. He answers prayers. He gives us what we ask for as long as it is expedient for us. Some of our wants are not answered because He knows it is not fit for us. He knows what's best for us.

I believe in God because I do believe that there is someone that is greater than all of us. I was not raised in a religious family at all but when my mother was still living with us, we went to church every Sunday. I do sometimes doubt if God exist especially when I go to hard times but I want to believe that He does and He is looking out for me.

There is some power more than us,it should be accepted by every one.in many situations some sense indicated me,(these things happens, or these things willnot happen, whether in good or bad incidents),those things actually happened also.but i don't believe in religious god.
