Unfortanitly, I try to keep every thing as much the same as i possibly can. That is just me though i know people who handle change very well i am not one of those people.

It may not be Hollywood that changed her. I know that many things I felt strongly about when I was younger I have changed my views on as I got older. LOL, I actually did a discussion about "Have your views changed from when you were younger?" So yes it could be Hollywood, could be she's growing up, could be a combination. I think that as we get older and our environment changes around us, it has a direct bearing on what we stand for. It really doesn't bother me what the stars think on a personal level, weather she doesn't eat meat, or she does, if bull riding is inhumane, were all entitled to our own opinions. Now if she starts bashing America.... Well then I would probably not buy or listen to her music. I do like her though. That's just my 2 cents worth!!!

Give yourself 10 or 15 years your views will change, lol. Do you have kids? If you don't your views will definitely change about many things after having kids. As we become more mature and have life experiences it does change us. Hollywood would be a big change for anyone.

Bull fighting and bull riding very often does not give the proper respect and consideration which is due to the animal. It is very frequently making sport out of an animal's fear and anger. When people do that to humans, it is called bullying and is a crime.

Carrie Underwood is one of my biggest idol for i thought that she is somewhat like her songs, God fearing and a woman imbued with Christian values but as you have posted this discussion, i think that Carrie is now somewhat weakened by her faith for as we all know her songs are not that "IN" for our generation that is why she is changing but i think her change is influenced by those group of people, whom i think you know, who are very influential when it comes to the music and movie industry.

The only permanent thing is changeAs we grow older the way we look at things changes based on our past experiences. For sure hollywood and what she's having now all contributes to the way she thinks.I'm happy for her and really like her transformation from a small townn farm girl to a hollywood celebrity. She must be one of those blessed few.Just hope that she'll use her fame and fortunes in a positive way.

a year latter wow I thought Carrie was your girl friend only to find she is a star. Well stars i.e. actresses are human and human beings do change and you must accept that in your Hollywood idols as they are just as human as you are.
