Older computers and their software bring back a lot of memories for me when i was a kid, teen and young adult. Do you miss some of your older pcs? Do you still have them? I have my older laptop which is actually newer than my current one that I need fixing.. :)

lol some of them are more sturdier than other machines and more upgradable on some types of machines like panasonic, toshiba, and machines like that. older cheap models like inspirons, acers, and asus type of machineas are kind of lacking what toughbooks, satellites and alienware have in common.

My first computer was a 486dx-2 with DOS that was brought by my father. It has this big 5 1/2 floppy drive. Internet was not popular then in our country. I used it for typing school projects and I use Wordstar. I also play Scorched Earth with it. The only thing left of it now is its 4MB edoram. I still keep it as a remembrance. My second computer was an AMD K62 that I bought myself. It runs on Windows 95,has 16MB memory, 1.8 Gb hard disk and a 28k modem. I used to surf the net with it and play diablo 1 and Dungeon Keeper. The only thing left with it is the processor that i still keep.

I had an austin 486 dx and I used it for dos games. I played doom and games like that on it. I miss playing doom and alone in the dark on it. :) They are still usable for something even if it is just for dos games.

Dells are pretty decent laptops, they don't cost so much and they run fine if you treat them right, I wasn't well and that's why my old one got sick.

Consolers on computers make more sense because eventhough a pc may be old, you can still multitask onn it regardless of the spoof comments.

I don't really miss my old computers since the files from my old computer is transferred to my new one. As long as the files are active and alive, I don't think I will be missing any of my old computers. If my files are gone, that would be the time that I'll be missing it.
