I like watching shows about ghosts or things from another realm but, I was watching SyFy last night and they had paranormal witness on. The story was about a family in California back in 2006; a mother and her daughter; mothers husband and his daughter all moved in and the daughters got along like sisters. So little things started happening and the husband thought that it was his stepdaughter wanting attention. So anyways the mom decided to give an offering to the whatever was in the house. Only the mom and the two girls was present. They lit candles and had a cat statue and used that as an offering. She said this is my gift to you..I don't want you to be afraid of us and we don't want to be afraid of you. While in the middle of their offering the dad walks in and was upset. He said, that they were talking to the devil. He grabbed the cat statue and threw it out of the balcony across the lawn. As soon as they all turned around the statue was back on the table next to the candles. The dad was surprised..he was sure he threw it out. So he grabs the statue again but, before the girls could stop him he breaks it. So the girls knew that was trouble. The next day they woke up and the walls had Cat written all over it. So the girls started taking pictures of everything the poltergeist was doing and recording things from their cell phone. I have seen many scary shows but this scared the sh*t out of me. They were in the kitchen and everything was all over the place. Things was thrown out of the fridge and onto the floor. While they were cleaning, they saw a footprint..not human, more like some kind of creature..and it was big. So do I think they made up that story? I don't.

Hello zamara I don't know whether it is good to believe in Poltergeist or not.But I can say that it must be exist some where besides I have never seen one by myself but it can't be totally refused. But it is also true that fear makes it more scaring so we try to don't believe on it.May be this really make them disappear.

I think they opened the door to the dark forces, to Satan and his demons. The devil can pretend to be good and can also show the extent of his power by making things move around. He can also disguise himself as an angel of light and this is what he has accomplished in this instance. And it looks like the family fell into his lure. They made an offering to this without asking God for guidance and that gave Satan and his minions a chance and he use as many signs and wonders to eke them under his control.

This is the second episode of the series. I liked the first one I watched. I think that this phenomenon is very interesting. I have seen different stories told about these and they are usually young energy and they are pretty physical. How can you watch something like this and not be a believer?

There are beings from a different dimension who are capable of doing things in our world. They do not always do it. It is not easy to prove it because (1) The beings do not always perform on demand (2) There have been fabricated events. Two doctors, friends of mine, were among the non-believers, changed their mind when several naughty beings chose their clinic as a target. One being was recorded on CCTV.

I don't think a Poltergeist is anything special. I would regard one as a particularly noisy or clumsy regular ghost. Much the same as you find in the living. Certainly, it must be possible to annoy ghosts as in your story.
