I have not been a leader until now

When I was a child, I have had tried to become a leader in my school or my local. However, I have never not been a leader until now. I always stand at the second level of an exam or any competing. When I have become a staff after I graduated from university, I still work as "deputy", not a "leader". Do you think that I short of any skills to become a leader? Or I will never become a leader in my life?

Think a bit more positive my friend as know that not all leaders in life come with titles. It takes an leader to be a team player, therefore be a bit more positive with yourself and do the best you can. Know when to give up in certain areas but put forth more towards what you find you are better at. Not all leaders are great as some simply want the title and forget that it takes work, effort and skill to be a true leader.

Very true. Even though we may not have the title of a leader, does not mean we do not have the potential to be one.

Very true as some leaders with the actual title can't even run the entire department.

Keep doing positive on and on. It just is matter of time. Good luck

I think we all have the potential to become leaders of something. I think you can be a leader at whatever you set your mind to.

You might be a leader yet. I never was either and was shy for most of my life. I had a job at an inventory company and the Team Leader quit. I had been there the longest so they offered the job to me. I took it even though I wasn't sure I could do it. It turned out I was pretty good at it and I enjoyed it! I had as many as 13 people at one time on my team. If you aren't a leader, there is nothing wrong with that also. Leaders need someone to lead and maybe that is more suited to you.

You have to start thinking positive and you will get there one day.
