Hello Lotters, I know that "asking questions" does a lot of help to us in our every day lives. Most of the time to get information in general. to specify a little bit like to get to know something or some one in your life. Another thing is to acquire knowledge that would make us grow both intellectually or emotionally Or like when Life seems to so upside down that we tend to ask like "WHY ME"?!! Or when you want assurance or confirmation like "Oh, really Now"? Questions also rise when were kinda surprised or frustrated like What the *%$#%?!! And a lot more I guess..But was there a tipping point where you just stop asking..and just let life flow by itself, Why??

I'm not sure that we ever stop asking questions but with age, we often get answers to questions we didn't ask! It is like we have stopped our purposeful search for education and yet, it is still forced upon us. So, we are still learning and curiosity does prompt us to ask questions. So you see, we do ask questions but perhaps not for the same reasons that a younger person might ask.

Hello Petersum, I don't remember getting answer with out asking first, but one thing for sure was that i get blessings which i didn't ask to. I guess you're point is that the question being asked by young and old people are different and not the same. but sometimes people ask questions similarly. have a nice day.

By now I have figured out that sometimes $hit just happens and nothing I can do will change anything and that everything happens for a reason, even if it's not something where I see or understand why immediately. Funny how sometimes things that seem to go wrong eventually right themselves. Kind of like a couple years back I hit a deer with my new car, pretty bad damages to it. The mechanic that worked on my car did some pretty shoddy work and I was saying all those swear words each time I took it back. Finally when I thought everything was working right on it, I went on vacation almost a year later. starting out in the first 100 miles my hose blew off of the transmission. More swearing. My car was out of commission for 5 hours. If it wouldn't have broke down, me and my two sons, daughter in law and (at the time) future granddaughter would have been on a train that was in an accident and killed 11 people. I just decide to let things happen and know that no matter what, everything seems to work out in the end.

Amen to that but it still leaves me still asking why even though I know I will never know the answer.

Hello mzz63, Seems you had a bad thing going on there my friend, hit a dear, car broke down for a good reason? i guess in your situation, things happen but with a positive benefit. it was like something deliberately stopping your family from going through that accident. glad to see you alive though. Have a nice day.

As a child I would always ask why? Most of the time the answer I got was because I say so. then I would think , not ask, what made you think so? At school I was too shy to ask questions . so I just listens and got the answers I needed. Now I ask Many questions. One I deemed stupid back in my teens . But this way I get to the answers I need.I don't have to worry or think What if! so I haven;'t gotten to the point where I stop asking questions.

Hello Sarah, There has never been wrong with asking questions, but I admit, i should have been more asking many questions iinstead of believing on people that only fools you to the end. maybe i will follow your example regarding this, so that i won't be fooled again. thank you and have a nice day.

I'm nearing 60 and I still ask questions. My mom only stopped asking when her mind started failing her. I think some people are not smart enough to know they need to ask questions... Heck, I think some stop as teenagers - because they know EVERYTHING, don't cha know, and never start again!

Hello ElicBxn, Oh, that's another problem though, they should keep asking questions to learn more instead of trying to make a statement that they know everything. I think that's a NO NO, how can they learn things in life if they don't ask questions, right? Have a nice day.

I guess we will never stop asking questions...I guess is just part of who we are as human beings we always want to know the how and when and why?...to me the tipping point would be no one can give me an answer and if is that so I would still be searching I would never give up.

Hello alottodo, That's a very insipiring notion about asking questions, i guess this is something that was missing to me. the point about my discussion also was that, when a person loose his or her quest for answers, he or she thinks that this life of contentment is just enough. i thought of that most of the time, to prevent myself from searching more and asking more. have a nice day.

I can see where I would reach the point when I would stop asking questions, not because I didn't want answers but more because I just didn't care. But I am a long way away from that point.

Same here. I used to care so much, but then I realized that the answers just didn't matter anymore. Because we weren't built to learn those answers, and that even if I found out, I just wouldn't care anymore. Because I was happy with my life, and wanted to continue living like that. Happy mylotting!

Hello savypat, That's another but a very valid reason. that's usually my case when I didn't care about it anymore, if I ask a question, they would certainly not answer it or divert the question into another question. thank you for response and have a nice day.

Hello Wonttakelong, yeah, that's kinda humurous too when the things we don't often ask and quest happens to us. at some point it happens but when ever we look at back we ask the question why it happens but because it's also part of life. have a nice day.

Hi Letran Knight: You know, knowledge is infinite so for me you will never have all the question or the answers. There's always something new, something exciting and new questions that will come to our mind. We just need to see around us and we'll find them. Some people of course believe they know it all but the funny part is that somethimes they are the ones that actually know the least because they feel lazy to ask. ALVARO

Hello starsailover, Yes it does that new questions arises when soomething new comes over. I am guilty sometimes of feeling guilty of not getting the questions that needed answers though. Nope, i don't know it all, but i guess i should start asking a few. have a nice day.

I never did ask life (or God) "Why me". I know everything happens for a reason. I never have stopped asking questions though, when something significant happens to me (whether good or bad) I always ask my self, how did I make this happen or why did this happen. Knowing the reason behind such events will help me avoid repeating it (if it wasn't pleasant), or help me repeat it (if it was favorable)

Hello Knicnax, there are times that i asked myself a hundred times about that, but i got tired knowing i could never bring back my past. but there are good results as to what happened to me, it has sheltered from entering into an even more bigger problem. have a nice day.

Asking questions in our daily life always enrich our knowledge. I always love to ask questions with the persons whom i talked. Everything had a answer which means solutions. Solutions can be solved when we asking questions.

Hello naseemkum, Indeed it is part of our lives now in order to be wiser and smarter most specially when we grow old. I do the same thing when ever i have problems with my computer and recently i realized that If i had gotten the answer i was question for, I'd never would have lost that computer. Have a nice day.

If there is the possibility you can't live with the answer you should not ask the question. I stopped asking questions as I found out there is not always an answer.

People learned to act that way. I know it`s thousands of questions a day, which aren`t even so important. The points is, the moment without any questions will never happen, I guess That`s normal for humans. The tipping point when you just stop asking quesitons will rarely happen, and the life allready flows itself, with all those questions together :D

HEllo wowash, So what you're saying is that life is flow but questions are always part of humans in terms of curiosity? that's a good point. some do ask questions but not that important just to get them update, even with useless things. thank you and have a nice day.

Hello sishen, yes it is impossible in reality because some people even ask even though they don't provide answers seek from people. besides, what's the point of asking if we act like an AI computer who knows everything. not every one is has knowledge about it. have a nice day.

Hello Stephcjh, there's nothing wrong if we don't stop asking. i mean, those who don't believe in God and prefers science never rans out of questions until they get all the answers they seek. sometimes they get it and most of the times they end being disappointed not getting the answer right. Have a nice day.

I think it is important to ask questions, because that is the way we learn. I am still asking questions. I am a Zen practitioner and meditation is a form of questioning about who we really are and what is the meaning of life. _Derek

Hello derek_a, Wow I didn't think that questioning has something to do with a process or some sort of meditation. this is the first time that i have heard of such, thank you for the insight, i bet it was hard at first. but i don't think it's for me. Have a nice day anyways.

Hi LetranKnight25, Well it is nice you asked this question. I have a uncle in the hospital right now. Everytime I went to see him I would ask him questions (ex), how are you doing today? are you cold? what has the doctor said today? Well the last time I went and I asked questions and got my feeling hurt. So I said you don't want me to ask you any questions. He said no, I didn't hear him well so I asked again, you don't want me to ask you any questions he said again in a loud irratated voice, " I SAID NO. Well that was the last of that, I finally made my way out of there. I said to myself, I guess I need to back off and let him get some rest. Oh, and by the way it was another person in there and she could ask him all the question she wanted and he calmly answered her.

Hello chevee, wow you still have shown that concern that you've been having to your ex even though you feel hurt for what he did. i feel sad that he's showed a cold version of himself to you since he decided to break up with you. yeah, i guess it's better to ask questions concerning him. anyways, you tried showing concern even though he responded negatively, brave of you my dear

Hi letran! I am someone who always have some questions in my mind, from simple to complicated ones. And I am just glad that my husband is there to answer my questions...haha But there are also times that I feel tired questioning coz it makes me think of crazy things as well and that makes me feel uncomfortable at times. So I decided to stop asking silly questions and just let things the way they are...

Hello Ckyera, that's good to know that you're hubby is there to answer your questions, though i doubt he has all the answers but it's nice that some one actually is there to answer it at least. there's nothing wrong with questioning a lot, sometimes it makes us smarter if we do. have a nice day.

dear LK, In our life, there are times that we came to the point of asking why. Yes,I did asks why before...but it hurts when why and questioning won't give us answer..so since then, I stopped asking why.. If ever I felt something is wrong...I just let it pass by and tell myself that, there is always a reason and result will come out soon. Have a good day dear brother.

Hello Jai-sis, I agree that questioning much won't give you much of an answer either. Just hated when things doens't work the way you plan or worked, though i always it has always been been gods plan but making mistakes it's just something that makes me ask questions out of disappointment. Have a good day too.

I only stop asking questions when nobody want to answer what i'm asking. If they are not interested on my question that's the time i stopped. And even my self dont know the answer for my questions. There's a lot of question that is unanswered and even the greatest person with the greatest mind cannot find the answer.I think God is the only one who answer everything.

Hello elramz, It's the same thing for me, most of the time, people don't want to answer them and instead they divert into something different. In some cases, they tend to ask questions or some what ignore you from answering the question. Have a nice day.
