I live on a small sailboat and was wondering how many mylotters have or do live on a boat? What kind of boat and what size? My boyfriend and I live on a 25 foot 1975 Erickkson and also have a 24 foot 1974 Seafarer that needs some fixing (actually, they both need some fixing :P ). What are your favorite places to anchor? We are a little bit limited to Florida right now, slowly getting the equipment together to truly cruise, but would like to check out the Keys, Puerto Rico, Jamaica, and other islands here, and also go visit my family in Vermont and go back to the west coast to check it out some more.

well i think alot of people could live even on a small boat they may not be able to live comfortably or have all the space they want to need but they could live on there how many people live on a boat depends on how large the boat is or how much space you have on the boat i think it would be nice to live on a boat and sail around as you please then anchor when you get tired but i am not a big water person and i am a little uneasy in a boat in the water i keep worrying it will sink haha

lol...i think a lot of people have that worry. It would be possible to have maybe a couple more people on our boat, but you're right, it would not be comfortable. We are barely there with just 2 of us on the 25 foot boat. We have had guests, but not overnight.

I used to live on a boat before, now I`m on the safe ground :) I used to have a yacht which was like 13-14 meters long. I lived on it for 2 years, since it was roomy I didn`t have problem with it :D I like to anchor near the beaches, In winter, I usualy used piers. I lived on my yacht with a dog, siberian haski actually :D Anyhow, It`s great to live on a boat, you can go anywhere you want (literaly taking your home with you :) ).

nice! It's funny that you say you had a siberian husky on your boat with you, because there is a guy in our anchorage that lives on a trawler and has the same kind of dog! very cool. We haven't really been very far, but we're talking very small baby steps. We've been living on the water for just over a year now, and we are still in the same county!!! Eventually though...anywhere we can get :) lol....safe ground.... ;)
