The road to the American League Playoffs goes thru Baltimore

The season will be here before you know it, and I will face it with the same naive hope I do every year. They traded Guthrie, of course. Respect? Well, let's just say love. I am a mid western boy through and through, but have bee an O's fan since I was a kid in the '60s. Robinson, Robinson, Palmer, Blair, Dave Johnson, Boog Powell,... They were still a franchise everyone wanted to play for into the into the '90s. Nothing's been the same since Mussina went to the Dark Side. Glad to see not every one has given up on them. Let's just hope for .500 this year. Gotta start somewhere.

Can they get some respect, they're Baltimore. How much respect can you give a franchise who every year is finishing last in that division. I know that they have to play the Yankees and Soxs but come on if the Rays can battle them so can the O's.
