New 2011 Movies?

There have been a lot of new movies this year; some of them good, some of them bad. I was disappointed by last year's movies...there were few that actually had the good qualities of a good movie. But this year's are a little better. I enjoyed Bridesmaids, a romantic comedy. It was hilarious, and definitely one of my favorite favorite rom-coms ever. Rise of the Planet of the Apes was good, but definitely not as good as I thought it would be. Then there's Harry Potter part 2. That has got to be the most EPIC movie of all time, and a great ending to the series. I loved it! So what movies have you enjoyed this year? Any really good ones that you think deserve oscars? Let me know!

I recently saw Adjustment Bureau and I am Number Four. Both were good. I get most of my movies from Netflix. Love them! I saw Thor at the theater. It was really good and I can hardly wait until the next one comes out. The actor who played Thor was very attractive and I would like to see somemore of him. Hehe

Celticeagle, Thanks for commenting! I loved Adjustment Bureau! I've watched it twice, and am now contemplating watching it a third time; it was just that good. I've never seen I am Number Four, but I've heard some pretty good reviews, so I'll look into that. Netflix is awesome! It's so worth my money. I just got it recently, and am totally in love with it. Chris Hemsworth was very attractive in Thor, indeed. I can't wait for the sequel to come out either! Hope to see that movie win some major awards. Happy mylotting!

SOunds like we have a lot in common in the movies that we enjoy. I am looking forward to the THor sequel as well.

A lot of pretty cool movies have been coming out this year. Have you realized that a lot of Marvel films are coming out like those action hero comic book characters such as Thor and Captain America. I would say the final film for Harry Potter was fantastic! It truly blew my mind and I reckon Red Dog was pretty good! Nothing beats a good family movie with a smart dog in it. Of course there were some quite disappointing movies that came out this year but I agree that this year was much better than last year. Hope more exciting movies come out at the end of the year.

Triple0, Thanks for commenting! And yeah, I agree...Thor and Captain America were two really good movies. I saw them with my family and everyone loved them. I haven't seen Red Dog yet, but I guess we'll go check it out! I'm glad there were some better movies this year...last year was a total disappointment. It will be interesting to see which movies make it to the oscars this year :) Happy mylotting!
