I was looking online for old world things that are handmade and I came across Lehman's that's an Amish catalog. This is one of the neatest places online. If you like Life Hacks..like IE ikea type stuff, you'll love Lehmans

i'm not really sure what amish means.. i have heard of it in films etc.. but i'm really not sure what it is.

The Amish are people who live without modern day stuff. They do not use electricity they do not drive vehicles. They use a horse and buggy to get everywhere unless they pay someone to take them to the places they need to go further out.

they are quite people, little bit more of traditionalists than others. They build their own houses, bake their own bread and make their own furniture. They don't use electricity or utilities like others. They are pretty amazing about producing their own goods to share with those that don't a particular way, they sell it to us.

I live all around the Amish so I know what they use. Some of the things are neat and some I am thankful we have otherwise. Have you ever heard of the place Amish country? You can get a lot of cool things there for decoration.

That sounds very neat. We buy some things from the Amish in our area also.
