Mine is a pint of Jersey Full-Fat Cream Milk! It's true! I ran over to the milkman that arrived at the Depot I used to work at..paid for a pint of the above milk, brought it back into the office and.. WALLOP! Down in one..well, not quite but thereabouts. Did it work? Not really. You're supposed to line your stomach with milk BEFORE you drink alcohol, not after lol. So, what's your hangover cure and - more importantly, does it work?

This will sound weird, but i learned if you drink ginger ale while you are drinking, you dont wake up feeling like you got beat with a hammer..

I was always told to drink more to get rid of the hangover.

I used to love cold leftover pizza from the night before. Straight out of the fridge and into it! When staying at a particular friends house on his couch after a big night, I would always wake first before anyone else. So I would wander down to the local shop and buy a hot dog with tomato sauce and melted cheese along with a large chocolate milk. MMMMM, what a great breakfast! Yes, this was me 20 years ago, I have not always been RawBill you know!

Okay thinking back when was the last time I had a hangover, hmm What helped me is to eat anything that is greasy and water down with plenty of water. Anything with bread and the water seemed to always do it for me. Now the run down feeling was only able to disappear after a long nap and or overnight sleep. lol

Haha! Do you such a thing as a "fry up?" Bacon, eggs..that type of thing? I'd do all that but it makes such a MESS!!!

I'd be too hung over to make the food myself. Usually it was a burger and fries that did the trick.

greasy mcdonald's breakfast meals and a work out. THis has been my husband's go to cure for years and he swears by it. the work out sweats the toxins out of the body, also people tend to hydrate more when they are aware that what they are doing is a work out. as for the greasy food...i guess having something in the stomach to absorb some of that acid.

Yes, I have heard of fry-ups that you do yourself but going to McDonald's would be a lot easier wouldn't it..provided it's nearby of course.

I still feel uncomfortable at the mention of "hangover".I was a heavy drinker and often drank till my tongue trips, when I was young, however I never created a disturbance. You are right,we had better line our stomach with milk before our drink,I uauslly try to drink a cup of milk before I did it,if possible. If I had a hangover,I could eat a lot of oranges or raw turnips which did their work.

Is turnip the same thing as a sweed? Either way, I don't like them very much. I'll stick to the milk, not that I get drunk very often anymore, but it's still nice to know these things!

Hello, Janey. What makes you think a clean-living girl like me would know about hangover cures? Anyway, when I've overindulged on the vodka, I dissolve an effervescent vitamin C tablet in water. It's the best hangover cure I've ever come across, and it's cheap - they're only just over £1 for 20 in Tesco. It also helps in you can drink plenty of water before going to bed.
