Have you ever posted an ad on Craigslist

and it didn't show up? I posted an ad yesterday, or should I say I tried to post one. After completing all the necessary steps to post it, I checked Craigslist directly to make sure it was there. What can I say? It's a habit I've learned to do. I've posted a few ads on there over the years and know better than to take craigslist word (or rather the link they give) that say it's been posted. However, I couldn't find it, even with using the search engine that is on there. I made sure to wait the 15 minutes it might take to post and ended up checking for over 2 hours. My posting wasn't there... I wound up doing a search online as to why it wasn't showing up and found this: http://reviews411.wordpress.com/2008/05/12/craigslist-ad-not-showing-up-its-called-ad-ghosting/ Apparently, my ad has been ghosted and I've been labeled a spammer. I think it may be because I've had ads that were flagged before. Most of these ads weren't my ads, but ads I posted (and reposted after they were flagged) for my neighbor. However, craigslist probably doesn't know that (even though I did state it in the ads) and now it looks as though I'm banned from there. So, what about you? Have you ever posted an ad on craigslist or any other site for that matter? Do you take time to make sure that it actually gets listed? Or do you just figure that it's there?
