Have you ever been in LOVE?

Have you ever been in love? Horrible isn't it? It makes you vulnerable. It opens your chest and opens up your heart and it means that someone can get inside you and mess you up. You build up all these defenses, you build up a whole suit of armor, so that nothing can hurt you, then one stupid person, no different from any other stupid person, wanders into your stupid life. You give them a piece of you. They didn't ask for it. They did something dumb one day, like kiss you or smile at you, and then your life isn't your own anymore. Love takes hostages. It gets inside you. It eats you out and leaves you crying in the darkness, so simple phrase like "maybe we should be just friends" turns into a glass splinter working its way into your heart. It hurts. Not just in the imagination. Not just in the mind. It's a soul-hurt, a real gets-inside-you-and-rips-you-apart pain. But then, after all of that mess... you can say to yourself, that you did it...be happy about it...the fact that you...

horrible?. it's one of the best things that ever happened and is still happening in my life. though i experienced countless brokenhearts from my past relationships, and even having some misunderstandings from my present relationship, to love that person is still what i'll do. ;-). He's my little bit of heaven here on earth.;-)

me and my boyfriend just had 3 breakups in the span of 6yrs and 7 months. we argue very seldom and we talk it out to solve the arguement. ;-)

Hell yes, I am in love! I admit that. Before, I couldn't say that sentence but now I am shouting it to the world. However, I wasn't aware of the consequences. So I guess I'll just be watching him from afar. I am a stupid person for letting myself fall for him. Sometimes I just wish that the feeling would fade away. =(

what a way to describe the feeling. it is an odd way but it is ironically true.
better to have loved and be loved, goes the saying. so, i guess, you are blessed to have experienced the feeling. a lot of people still do not have an idea of what it is like. so, smile, you are one of the fortunate ones. heart aches can hurt you but do not let it ruin you.

I've been in love... and still am, with the same person that I fell in love with almost 4 years ago. A double edged sword it is... but in the end, we are all going to bleed.... to suffer and die from something.. whether it be a tragic accident or a heart attack from old age.
So, if anything, I'd rather love and be loved while I can. (:

Yes I had once been in love. It was my first time to feel a so much happiness every time I remember his face. A sweet feeling that someone gave you special affection. A joy that you cannot explain but sure will complete your day. Until you cannot expect that this love wont last. You don't know that this man was owned by another. And it was a first time to feel a pain that i chose to leave and forget him. No one wants to have a part of his love and yet i don't want to be a stupid. But this is the reality that love has many secrets and you must prepared for the consequence. And yet I'm happy that i had tried to be in love.

True enough. Every time we love, we open ourselves up for the killing. 
In the hope that the other person is the one. However, though love makes us vulnerable, it also has great effects. Our days are brighter, we feel happier and more beautiful.
I guess it's not easy to be in love with someone. But the problem is that we can't really say no to our heart in a lot of times. As for the courtship stage, rejection is common, but that isn't the love that you deserve yet. You should feel lucky because the person didn't decide to play you along before she breaks your heart in the end. She's just honest and you should accept that honesty. But that doesn't mean it would not be painful.

Hmm..Have I been in love before? I don't know. I really don't know what it feels to be in love. I had this guy before, and I think I had feelings for him. It was quite a good feeling. You will sacrifice your sleep just to talk or text him at night, lol. But we had to be apart for some work, and after a year, he had an affair and she became pregnant. So now he's a dad. Oh well, can't do anything about it. I really don't want to think about being in love, I don't want to have another problem. :))
