do you eat in front of your computer?

Yes will have to be my answer as while typing here on mylot I have eaten an apple, banana and some grapes. I have eaten a sandwich while on the pc but never any hot food.

I do not have that habit. My daughter is the one who does that, and I get so angry. I hate to see cookie crumbs in front of the monitor, and all over the keypad. I hate to see marks on my monitor.

I eat in front of my computer more times than not. Our house is not very big so many of us can't sit around the dining table at once, so I either sit on the couch in front of the TV or in front of my computer and eat at my desk. The desk is the more comfortable place to eat.

Yes, yes, yes! And this is exactly what I am doing right now -- eating in front of my computer. I just need to be careful not to spill anything on the keyboard, or drop crumbs in it or type with sticky or greasy fingers.

I do that sometimes. But since I'm using the computer all day, I try to eat at the dining table most of the time. Its already my way of resting my eyes, even if its only for a few minutes.

ahhh sometimes when my mother is not around nor my twin sister and if they catches me eating some junk foods cookies etc etc. It will be a very very long long discussion. Specially if I brought sodas beside the computer or laptop (It miught cause accident) and it's kinda pretty boring for me. So avoiding is the best choice I have. They really care w/ the computer they dont want to cause an accident in front of the computer. So my best choice is avoid eating and drinking in front of the computer.'(I wish I have my own laptop and off course I will really really took care about it I will clean it)

most days i eat my lunch in front of the computer, some days breakfast too. it just depends on if i am working that day or not. since i only work in the morning, i am home in time for lunch so i catch up on mylot during my lunch.

I often eat in front of my computer. I love to have my lunch and dinner in front of my computer and watch online TV series every day. I have already developed this habit for quite a while,but I try not to eat so close to the computer for fear that I might get some food onto my keyboard.

hi rhane7315 Yes I have and did a few moments ago when I had a couple of pieces of licorice.I am a diabetic and often go low so must eat a couple of pieces of hard candy or orange juice to normalize my blood glucose back to normal. Other times I am just hungry and have a half a sandwich instead

I take my morning coffee in front of my computer. I also can eat a pastry or have a drink in front of it, but I have my meals in my kitchen -- well, I have an old wifi enabled PDA in the kitchen, so Internet is not far --.

I have to being a real piggy person and eating at my computer a lot! My keyboard gets in a real mess - full of crumbs and drops of food, I'm always having to clean it! I would kill the kids for doing it too!!!!!

Guilty as charged. Almost everyday I eat in front of my computer, during lunch breaks most of the time. It's like working lunch for me always, because of so many deadlines to meet. But I always make sure that though I eat in front of my computer I see to it that I'm cautious enough not to spill water or my food over my keyboard.

I am at fault for this, I always tend to eat in front of the computer. During work, I normally spend my lunch hour working in front of the computer rarely do I take a lunch break and leave the office. At home, sometimes when I am having a snack at night I tend to be on the computer since I am doing school work.

Hi rhane7315, I have done it I try not to make it a habit of doing this. It really is messy and make a mess. Plus I really can't enjoy what I am eating when I do this. I have even tried bringing a wet cloth with me so that I don't get anything on the mouse and keyboard. It just doesn't work very well for me. Have a blessed day.

only dry food or those food where i could not spill on my computer keyboard such i avoid those food with liquid. but most of the times i avoid it since some food debris get stuck between the keyboard. and this cause me a problem and many ants come to live inside those vacant slot. so i avoid eating as much as possible and avoid staining my fingers with dirt.

yep yep! I do eat in front of my laptop many times especially when I'm in the middle of doing an article and I suddenly felt hungry. This is an everyday scenario for me.

I do! That's why my keyboard is flooded with food crumbs and now they're lodged in there and I can't take them out. I'm usually on my computer late at night and when I get a little hungry I usually go get something to eat. If I'm planning to watch a movie on the computer, I would go and warm up a nice meat pi and bring it with me to the computer. While I sit back and enjoy the movie, I'll be munching away on my warm delicious meat pie! And the crumbs would fall over my keyboard. Sometimes eating at the computer is quite convenient but I rather eat an actual meal at the dinner table.

I do most of the time especially when I am playing games online. I just can't stand chance of missing a single moment in my game. And besides I enjoy eating in front of my computer. I just wanted to share one incident while I'm eating (in front of my computer of course). It was the third set of our game when my mother called for lunch, since I don't want to stand and get foods for my lunch, my mother give me one. While eating, I accidentally poured the soup on my keyboard. So ending is, my keyboard sparked and we lose the game.
