I want BIG car !!

Hello Friends :)
My uncle having the big car. And I am using it many times. But not the all times. Just few days ago i went for a long tour of 400 km with my small car.
And I have noticed it many times that some big cars like trucks and buses don't respect this small cars. I mean even there is no space for overtaking they go for it when they saw small cars ahead. I have experienced the same.
I have to use break when one Luxury Bus was overtaking from the front. Its like he was ignoring me and my car !!!
How can he?? ha ha.. I have to speed down my car and take my car to off road because of that.
I guess I have to go for BIG CAR. May be A plane on ROAD..
Then everybody will respect me.
Have you gone through such experience ? I am sure it is the normal everywhere.. Or what you think about it ?

you will be safer when you drive your small car behind big cars,no one dare to even close to you,umm,this is called adorn oneself with borrowed plumes.the only problem is your psychology

um... maybe,in daytime ,you can take a bus and just stand behind the driver and image it's you are driving there,and yell to big cars passed by.

Well, I didn't know that trucks and buses fall under the category of cars!! 
However, I feel you must be contented with what you have. I do not own a car even! You are no doubt better than people like me. All that matters is who accompanies you or the way you drive. May be listening to some romantic songs while driving in the evening in your 'small' car would give you the same pleasure that you expect while driving the 'Big' cars.

hi akp here in Southern California there is a current craze for these huge SUVs and some drivers are really careless. Now we
watched my friend and I as we were stuck at a red light. this woman driver driving a really over sized SUV turned just as a young
man started across on a green walk light pushing his bike in
front of him. Oh my G she hit him so hard he was flung up into the air. He came down, walked his bike to the sidewalk and collapsed 
there, We sat there in horror watching as we waited for the green light. we never did know how badly hurt he was. but she really hit him and it was dusk and she had not put her headlights on. I think she did not even see him.Oh I do so hate these careless drivers in their tanks of cars so huge and they drive rather insolently too which does not help.

Ohhh my megnifier friend wants to Big Car dont worry I will give you gift on your birthday a Big car but this car will be running without petrol only on keys ahah....

Im sorry about that i will to say to you. I think it's a big "Belinata" as mentioned
in my Genoese dialect, you have a car? keep that one, regularly drive and please be lucky enough to own it. Remember that many people not even have it!

I am going the opposite way.
I'm thinking of getting a smaller car. I have a Dodge Caravan, and I'm sick of paying high gas prices for it. I want something smaller. Something that would just sit my family.
I figure, if I have to do a long drive on a highway, and I need a bigger vehicle, I'll just rent one.

That's the proper way too..
I am not saying that small car are bad.. I am having small car and I am quite happy with it too. I had just started this discussion with frustration that how big buses just ignores the small cars on highway. That's it. During traffic and in city areas small cars are more comfortable than the big ones.

I have been driving bigger cars/trucks for several years, and the funny thing is that if I ever drive my boyfriends small car I feel odd, as if I was sitting on the ground.
I have been so use to driving bigger trucks for so long that I could not adjust to a small one again. Although I am usually the only one in my truck I find it very comfy to drive. The only thing to remember is that the bigger the vehicle the more expensive to maintain. The petrol alone is steep to maintain. Unlike a small vehicle which at times has better mileage per gallon.
I am not sure if most respect me more due to my big vehicle, but surely when they need a comfy ride they usually call me first.

I am not talking like that.. I mean the big cars like bus don't respect the small car on the highways.. That's why I want a big car too so those big cars can respect me.. Mine small car doesn't get much more attention.
But yes big cars are good in comfortable. And also driving in big cars with group is more good.

Hello AKP,
Even though if you buy a big car then too these trucks and buses won't respect you because big cars are smaller than these.
I also experience it many times when i go through GT road as this road is narrow i have to give respect to these trucks and buses and have to go down the road sometimes but then i think this is not the respect this is safety as these truck drivers don't run vehicals safely.

Secondly they know people will smaller vehical automatically give them the way to overtake them.

I guess that is true. Big cars overtakes small cars. they don't respect those who drive in small cars. I think that it's like that anywhere. Well, all I can say is, at least you have a car. Don't mind them. But if you really like to have a big car, then save some money. If you've save enough, then you can buy a big car.

He he.. I wish i can have a big car..
About over taking.. Its okay if any big car over takes me.. But I am talking other thing. I mean when they over takes any car they just ignores that small car is coming infront of them. Even gap is too small they liked to over take by ignoring the coming small car.

lol,
even i wish to have a big car one day.but that doesn't mean am unhappy with my current car.but friend take my advice in advance.if you do get to buy a new biiger car which is like plain on a road,please don't tap it to start.lol

oh yes i too have noticed the same that truck drivers think that they have the mastery to drive whatever way they wish too and whatever comes in there way has to go off.they hardly give sides for small vehicles to pass by.

I think you should not get a big car. They are expensive to buy. They are expensive to run, the fuel will be used up more quickly. Even maintenace, repairs and parts will be more expensive.

Yes all are true.. That's why I am having small car with good mileage. I don't want to increase my costing. I was just telling generally. I mean on highways small cars don't get much respect in compare of big cars... But yes small cars having their own benefits.

Well!!!! big car means big money.....and more expenses . If that is no problem for you then surely you can buy a big car or even aeroplane . You are right, big trucks are scary and bus drivers are over confident. Someone told me that in USA, there are different roads for small cars and for big trucks and buses. I think that is the best idea. Hope the whole world will accept this idea so that cars and trucks or buses will never clash into each other and we can really enjoy safe driving.Nice discussion. No no. I am happy with my small car too. And yes can't afford big car now also.
I was just telling that because of those bug buses and trucks. Yes that idea is good that having two different roads for big cars and small cars. I wish in my country we can have such roads. That would be really great and safe driving then.

I like the one from Honda, the Honda CRV. It's not very big, but big enough for my needs. If my car is too big then I will get trouble when it comes to parking it, I'm not one of the parking experts girl.

I think so just like what you said it is often happened,because the bus or truck driver think that you block his way maybe,but by the way ,i think you should let it go,because on the road is dangers,so whether the big car ignoring your car or not,you should let he through,it is not play bumper car in play ground.my friend,be careful!

I know that I always drive very carefully during this. Well I never plays on road. But what about when a big car comes from the front by take over the other cars and comes on our side of road in front of us. We have to slow down our car because of their faults because they just ignores the small car.

Yes I have experienced it, but with my motorbike. I used to drive on the road when some boastful truck drivers used to overtake on shoulder. It is really annoying someone do that to you. Haven't they know the risk that they are doing?
