As a citizen of India, I have a fundamental right to vote. Yet choosing a party to vote for always proves to be difficult as it is to choose between the devil and the deep sea. I am sure this is a dilemma faced by many a voter on the day of the polls. Do you also have the same observation like me? Do you also face the same dilemma before casting your vote?

I always believe that it is best that we cast our vote. Somehow, we must take the little responsibility that we hold in our hands. Well, that is choosing our leaders as they present themselves to the public for the public to decide.
Excellent citizens will never make good leaders because all that they know is how to be law abiding and God fearing. These are not the qualities of a leader who can lead the country through thick and thin.
Politicians are mostly no good persons by themselves. However, in rare occasions, good ones come out but they don't get voted since they tell the truth and give the people the true picture of how government goes and the truth about where the country is headed for.
Let us face it. Most voters prefer to be promised this and that over given the true picture and shown the facts.

I have not cast a vote in the US since I voted for CLinton. I am unable to chose any good candidate since then. I refuse to vote again until I find a decent person on the democratic ticket. I don't know about India but the US is just not making any good aponents anymore.

I am sorry to hear that, DoctorDidi. So voting in India is by party and not per person when the voters cast their votes. Block voting has lots of disadvantages. I would never like to be doing it, too. In a political party, there will always be people whom you would like to come out winners but, there will always be some whom you will dislike.
Anyway, just try your best to be able to pinpoint the lesser of two evils and then choose that party. Pray that you will do it right because, it makes a lot of difference if we have good rulers above us.
This is our share of the responsibility as regards moulding our future. May you do it right.
To answer your question, yes, i also always go through the same dilemma that you do.
