Check this link out, too, which is basicly a hub for all the "Occupy" action with live updates. There is a delay, but the posters at huffpo also spread news in their comments. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/10/05/live-updates-occupy-wall-street_n_996655.html#liveblog Keep yourself informed. I tried to view the link you gave here, but the work computer I use here didn't load it properly. I don't understand exactly what all these protests are about. Basicly, I think it is a good idea for people to get together in an organised fashion to protest about something they feel strongly about. Sometimes letter wrting, etc is just not enough. Poeple have to get out there and make their concerns known. Provided they do so in an orderly, non -abusive manner. Otherwise they will lose credibility.

This protest is long overdue. It is about the 99% of us not wanting to be controlled by the 1% who own this world. They have a small list of common sense demands. They want the Buffet Rule put into place. (Where tax code has it so billionaires and millionaires pay more taxes than their employees.) They want fair air time for all candidates. The media here in America has a way of slanting everything to the far right wing's advantage. They want the Supreme Court ruling that allowed corporations to make unlimited donations to political causes reversed. That opened the floodgates of hell to special interests. They demand the arrest of every corporate thug. And they want the banks to act responsibly, so we don't have to go and bail them out again. The protests are a people's movement. A real grassroots movement. And it's about time! Sorry I don't get back to posts quickly. I have been swamped. And this movement has me doing a TON of research.

Trying to cash an illegitimate check amounts to outright fraud even if it is supposed to make a point. It is akin to someone stealing your checks, writing outrageous amounts on them, and then cashing them. They should be prosecuted.
