Should We Have Received Some Sort Of Notification Or Explanation?

As some of you already know, myLot has been having some issues with the website. Earnings not updating, top discussions not updating, notifications not working, etc.
It's not a huge deal, as most of know that myLot is very trustworthy and will have everything fixed ASAP. We don't have anything to worry about.
However, I do think it would have been nice to have received some sort of email or notification making us all aware of the issue, with an explanation of what is going on and that it will be fixed as soon as possible.
I think this would have reduced the amount of confusion, as well as the discussions started on this issue. Many of us are very annoyed at the amount of discussions popping up about this issue.
What do you think? Do you think myLot should have made us aware of the issue when it first happened, so there wouldn't be so much confusion?

Yes Purplepeopleeater also mentioned this in his video. Maybe some of Admins functions also have glitches. There are a lot of violations still here so I am assuming that Admin too is having participation issues.

That is a good point HWG.
Perhaps the reason we were not notified is because the admin did not have a way to notify us due to the issues going on with the website.
At least, I hope that is why they did not notify us. I would hope that, if they could, they would notify us about something like this to reduce the amount of confusion.

I've noticed that the top discussions are the same day after day. I haven't checked today though to see if it is the same. I think my money is the same as it has been for the last 3 days.. I don't pay that much attention, but I think it is the same. I think they will get it fixed as soon as they can. It would be nice to be notified, but I'm not annoyed that they didn't.. I was just wondering why the discussions weren't updating.

I read through some of the replies and saw that maybe they can't reach us and the possibility that you have become a "mylot complainer"
Actually I feel like I can complain because I am probably missing many of my friends posts as well as they are missing mine. I am finding some now by going to "friends started" but with my schoolwork, I really don't have time, because I have so many friends, but only some have notifications turned on..So, yeah, this makes it inconvenient, plus when they finally fix it, does this mean I will suddenly have hundreds of emails in my inbox???

Hmmm, good point, except how many of these will already be resolved by the time I get them? I don't just reply just to reply, and especially if the one who started it picked a BR and I have nothing to say. I noticed this happens more when I am in school, because I am late in replying.
So, maybe they'll finally get it fixed when I have no school work and I'll beat most to the discussion..

Of course another benefit would be to suddenly see a huge increase on the earnings, instead of pennies, it will increase in dollars.....

I think myLot is working hard to keep this site running efficiently. Personally I am fine with the comments from the members who have been through this several times. I have no doubt all will be fixed as soon as possible and those who are worried have posts to help them understand what is happening.

Yes, that's right.
I am not worried at all. I learned about the issue by reading the 30 or so discussions about it.
I just want to hear the opinions of other members about whether or not myLot should have sent out some sort of notification to inform us all about the issue to reduce the confusion.

I am not worried either stary1. MyLot is a very trustworthy website, and has been around and paying over 5 years.
All websites go through things like this and the admin have to be given time to get things fixed.

Hello Angelee,
I think there is no confusion if people go to the discussions as there are already at least 25 discussions about MYLOT server not working properly.
I think there is no need for mylot admin to give explaination as MYLOT really is trustworhty site and if things are not working properly then there is server problem only which should be assumed by the MYLOTTERS.

Hello sjvg1976,
I do think we should look around myLot before starting more discussions on the same topic. We are supposed to do that anyways, whether there is an issue with the site or not. We are supposed to search myLot before starting discussion, as duplicate or similar discussions are often deleted.
I am just afraid that the newer members who have not been here long enough to gain trust for myLot may go crying scam, because they are not receiving earnings. Or, leave myLot because of it.

I would say something should have been said or posted somewhere where everyone can see it. I'm a bit of a paranoid person and I just joined this site yesterday, my earnings haven't updated at all yet. I've been told sometimes they take more then 24 hours, so I am going to hope they are right and I will see something soon.

It's okay to be paranoid gothtini, you are right about many scam sites. myLot has been paying it's members on time every month now for 5 full years, provided they meet the minimum or more.
Welcome aboard, and just wanted to add a confirmation of what Angelee stated.

Oh yes, myLot will give you the earnings you have earned!
Right now, myLot is just having some problems with the website and the earnings are not updating. It's happened before, and once myLot fixed it, everyone received their earnings in their account.
You have nothing to worry about. MyLot is completely legitimate and trustworthy. They have been online and paying for over 5 years!

Well as you are very well aware, this has been resolved by now which is good. There were also many notifications as to their apologies as well. All I know it sometimes there are glitches here, but it Good to see that it is fixed, and everything is back to running smooth here again.

Glitch is beginning to sound like a dirty word cause I have seen it written so many times in the last few days, and I never complained one time. Ain't I somethin?

I think this would have been very helpful but what about all the other people who werent aware of the issue would the of conserned them or made newer people think that this is a problematic website, it would be nice for some people but maybe not all.

I think it would have been nice of the myLot admin, whether it helped with the numerous discussions about the problems or not. But, I am now thinking they may have already thought about it... and realized that with the issues that are going on (no notifications for discussions started) even if they did start a discussion or email... it wouldn't get to us.

Everything up dated nicely for me as of Wednesday, after that nothing. It takes time for Techs to do thier thing.
Think the confusion comes from people not reading discussions, as for example Purple People Eating posted a lenghty post and a number of others. Problem is many people will post a discussion about "why this or that" instead of looking for discussions under "mylot.com" for an explanation.
Even if MyLot sent an email out, you'd still have the confusion! Also you would did you get the email, no I didn't. And posts with the email put into! It would be a whole different mess! LOL

So, even if myLot were able to send out a site-wide notification about the issue and what all is going on... you still think we would have the same amount of confusion?
I think that there would be less confusion if myLot did this, but some people may not bother to read the notification, and would be confused. However, I think that would be solely their fault, as myLot would have done their part to keep everyone in the know.

I do agree, there should be some notification, when there is some issues with the site.
