I can't get myself back on track for some reason!

Hi folks!
I'm having trouble thinking right now. It's like my mind is a blank slate and there is nothing there. I know that's not true, but it feels that way. I think I need some ideas, because I can't think of any right now. I'm a health/wellness/disease and condition writer. I've written on almost everything under the sun, and frankly, I want to write about something new.
Do you have any ideas about health related topics?
Any topic relating to health is fine.. I just can't think of any right now. I have written over 1200 articles, so I want some new ideas.
Tell me what you would like to read, if you were looking for health articles...
Your thoughts...

hi dear PQ when you say you have written over 1200 articles by now I am sure you have covered most of the interesting topics. You sure have written about fibromyalgia which seems to pester more and more people and the restless legs syndrome which I recently heard about.
Have you written about home remedies yet, like almonds for acid reflux or heartburn, covering fresh small burns with honey for a while, same goes for small cuts.......

Hi Ritter Dear! I have done restless leg syndrome a couple of times.. and I've also done Fibro more than once. I just did one about acid reflux meds causing swelling.. that was interesting because they interfere with protein absorption and can disrupt the plasma proteins and cause swelling... I've also done acid reflux meds and increased risk of fractures...
I've not researched almonds for acid reflux... that is something... and I know about honey for wound healing, but didn't know about for burns.. thanks for those ideas.

hi dearest PQ read it on the net and had burnt my hand slightly with the evaporating hot air from the cooking pot so I know it works like a charm.

Seriously I can relate with this one as I have had this happen to me many times myself my friend. I think it is natural from time to time, and unless it is a long break detrimental to your finances I think everything should be OK. I know I only posted a little in here in the last 24 hrs. as I was not feeling motivated and was doing other things. But right now I am trying to play some catch us, but if you need Health ideas, just ask me about what all is wrong and that could stir up a number for sure. (Just kidding.. Life if getting a lot better.)

Personally my friend it has not been easy. It has been a challenge in a lot of ways, and something I feel I am going to become much stronger because of it. But I am also learning a lot of other things on how so many people know nothing about Health and what it takes to be Healthy, and live that way. There are many times I now feel I am an expert with some things after what I have learned and could probably benefit in writing about some of these things myself more.

I would love to pick your brain on topics... like what you have been going through at the job and so forth... people .. especially women with disabilities being discriminated against... hope you get your annual raise like you are supposed to. Sounds like you will be fighting for that also... I just don't know what is wrong with your boss to make things so hard on you.

Something that has been on my mind for a little while now is how many health issues are caused or can be caused by smoking.
My husband just had a triple-bypass surgery in his abdomen. His aorta was blocked below his renal arteries, one blockage to one kidney and blockages in both femoral arteries.
I've known for a long time now that smoking can cause serious heart issues but had never thought about it affecting other arteries/veins in our bodies like it did his.
I think you could possibly write at least a dozen articles about smoking and how it affects different parts of our bodies, not just the lungs. Have you already done articles like these?

Will you be able to research and write about acute leukemia in children? i was so much affected about a little boy who is so smart and vibrant and was diagnosed with the disease? does having it in children different from having it in adults?
also, what about elephantiasis? not sure if this is the right spelling. but this had been affecting a lot of people in the rural areas.

I have written about leukemia, but not necessarily in children. I think I have written at least two articles on leukemia. I'm more interested in writing popularly searched topics on the search engines, because that is where the bulk of my monthly money comes from. I wrote an article about where to go pumpkin picking near Atlanta and got over $73 in page views for the month just for that one article. It's just luck sometimes that you hit upon a topic that is really searched a lot.

first you need to relax yourself... take a walk, treat yourself to a relaxing massage, party, etc. There's a lot of thing to do for you to get back on track. For now, this is what I can give to you.

Sometimes, I feel that way too. If you were to ask me what I would be interested to read about health, it would about disease conditions. Any disease condition will do. I love to know and learn more about the different diseases and their treatments.

I can't get back on track either, but I am not worried it will come when it comes.
what about writing about the effects of stress on job performance,
or burnout and what to do about it.
or barometer changes and how it affects our bodies

These are great ideas. I remember my doctor telling me that changes in barometer readings can influence arthritis pain. Thanks for the ideas. I should have just emailed you for ideas. You are a great ideas person.

Maybe you could do a story on those homes away from home where the parents of sick children stay while the kid has treatment. They are called Ronald McDonald House over here in Australia. Do you have that sort of thing in the US?
We also have The Royal Flying Doctor Service:

it's a fascinating concept and the History of the service is even better:

You might get a few articles following each other there.

Oh, that happens to me oftentimes, too. It is no new thing, this thing that is happening to you now.
Health issues. You are good at them then. If you have written 1200 articles already, my, my, that sounds like you have already touched on almost everything.
Maybe using ice after bathing is a new idea to you.
After taking a shower, I have found lately that rubbing some ice cubes from face to toe before toweling dry, gives me a better feeling. A more refreshed feeling. Then, I will tower dry then apply some body lotion soon after before getting dressed.
This tip is most helpful to those who are suffering from cancer. The cold, cold ice slows down cancer growth.

I've certainly never heard that rubbing yourself with ice cubes will prevent cancer. Do you have a rationale for this? I'll certainly be looking this one up.

Where can we find your articles? I am also very interested in health and longevity. I'm always reading about how to be healthier. Sometimes you can read the news and hew health discoveries and then write about that. Or by reading other articles you get ideas to write about.

1,200 Articles, that's really wow.
So,I guess there is nothing left to write then.
I also do some writing but I don't have definite subject, thu I love poetry and most of my writings are poems.
I write from technology, movies, celebrities, fun and humor and job related articles.
I also have few about health.
What if you changed your subject and discover more of your interests as well.

Since I am a retired nurse, it is always disease and wellness that interests me. I have written two books of poetry but there is no money in poetry. I have done a few technical articles but I have no real interest there.
