I am a graduating student and I am planning to apply an employment exam. They require the student to bring with them a resume. There are so many people telling me what to put on the resume but I don't know if they are right or wrong.
I have some general questions in mind. Hope you guys can clear my mind.
Do you need to put a picture on it?
Is it long or short bod paper needed?
How many pages does it requires?
Can anyone give me a standard format for it? Thanks!

A gd resume shld b no more than 3 pages. You shld only use white A4 papers and not any fanciful papers. A recent photo of yourself is necessary.
I think there r no standard formats. However, I hv read that it's impt to indicate ur strengths at the beginning, after ur personal particulars. In particular, e strengths u mention must b relevant to e position u r applying for. It's gd to state ur highest qualification first. If u hv any work attachments. U shld also indicate them. If u hv work experience, u need to include that. Point form wld be gd. But it's imp to highlight those work duties and responsibilities that r relevant to e position u r applying for.
Hope the above info helps. Hv a great wk ahead.:)

Hello..
Well, you can browse the net so that you will have a guide format.
A resume needs to have a picture of you. 2x2 pic would be alright. Placed at the upper right hand corner of the first page of your resume. A formal pic with a white background is so okay.
I think, the most formal size would be a short bond. I always use a short sized bond paper for my resumes and I make it three pages. The references is another whole page. I hope you can land on a job soon.
Good luck to you and God bless.

You can always put a formal photo and no need to write a long resume.
A direct information is a must since HR don't have much time reading a long resume.
Make it short and precise and concentrate with your achievement that will surely caught the HR attention.
have a good day and goodluck

well..a resume needs to have a picture..a formal picture to be exact..and i usually put it on a long bond paper.. i think pages of the resume doesn't matter as long as you can put all the informAtion needed.. your working experience, awards recieved, educational background etc.. you can find some samples on the internet so that you can make your own..
