all my life i was tough to stick up for family no matter what but my mother wont stick up for her own brother even though my uncles g/f is in the wrong the girl aborted my uncles baby without his knowing and among other things should i say something to her and stick up for my family or leave it be to avoid conflict mind u my uncle was in tears with me on the phone not knowing what to do and in complete distress

Some people are just idiots. And family or not we can't stick by them after a certain amount of idiocy. Tough love is no fun but it has to be done sometimes. It can all get pretty intense at time. I am glad that stuff is not happening very often in my family. My grandson has a mood disorder and freaks out sometimes.
