Isn't it a violation to send my friends here in mylot private messages in my native language?

It is said in the terms that we should only use english as the medium of communication here because mylot's staffs are not bilingual.I wonder if it is a violation to send private messages that are in my native language,filipino.Does mylot monitor our private messages?

I don't think so because you made it for particular person not public (discussion). as long as I concern Mylot not monitor this kind of activity (not give you extra credit/income).

I think you are right.They don't monitor our private message because we earn none from them.Do you send messages to friends that are not written in english?

Nope, at least not yet. But I do sent some referral link from Private area. If private message monitored by admin I already banned right now.

No not a violation at all in pms and I do have one member who both of us pm in Spanish. Just something out of comfort and I do like it that way between us. There was a discussion a while ago where Admin confirmed they do not read private messages.

I am very glad admins don't read private messages.I am asking this because i want to communicate to my friends using our native language.We can connect more to each other using it.

Hello Ferbjohn, Private messages are private they are not watched or scaned by admin you can write in any language.NO it is not violation of guidelines.

hi ferb, mylot allows us to speak in messages/inbox in our native language so dont worry about it.
