Have you ever eaten those or other exotic foods? If not yet, will you try those if you are given a chance?

It seems like it would be good to be able to pay a visit to New Zealand. Wild pigs have become so very rare around here in my country. I used to savor its excellent tasting meat while I was still very young. How those meat from the deer? Do you still have them over there? I can still remember that this type of meat is way more delicious than that of a wild pig's.

Haha.I thought rotten corn is should be thrown away already. It's good news it can still be eaten. Here in my country the deers are already very rare, and the government forbid eating them because deers here are endangered. We eat here goat as substitute to deer.Goat almost tastes the same.

Tjis kind of thing is included in the to-do list of my life---eat something weird. So far I've tried only snail, but that is not so exotic for many. I live in the Philippines where we actually have pig blood stew and grilled blocks of chicken blood, and I have eaten both, but they are not weird or exotic in here. I'd probably go try a dish with bugs. There are so many kinds of edible bugs as I have seen on TV and people say some of them are actually delicious.

Oh.I forgot to include rats in the list of exotic does I have eaten. It is not the rat we find in our houses but those that are found in grass fields.Rats taste very very good.At first I was afraid to eat it,but my dad forced me to eat one.lol I have never eaten blood.:)

Eating rats and frogs is really more common in the rural areas where these creatures can just be found in grasslands or fields. Frogs and rats in the city are scary and since they thrive in dirty places it's best not to eat them. I'm generally not afraid to try out new things so if I was offered a farm rat I'd go taste it. As for blood, certain people from certain religious groups don't eat it as a general rule. Some people just find the idea strange. Although, I must say, the Philippine Dinuguan or pig blood stew is actually very delicious. I would recommend it to people but of course I'll let them know beforehand that it's black because it's blood. In the Philippines almost every part of an animal is eaten. The head and feet of a chicken are barbecued, as well as the heart, intestines, and other internal organs. Same with a pig. The dish called Bopis is made from the chopped up heart and lungs of a pig. That can be quite exotic for some people.

I love the pig's intestines. It tastes very good, but it's a little bitter.Well that's not big problem.I think it makes the intestines more delicious.

I have had my share of those exotic foods. However, the bamboo shoot is treated as a regular food to partake of here in my country. It is one of my favorites along with the mongo bean sprouts. Snails are considered to be excellent health food along with the clams but, I have been limited to have eaten those that are procured from the sea. I love taking my share of some types of seaweeds, too. As for the frog, they always get served in those very tiny pieces of their legs. It seems like I can never have enough of it. I surely will prefer to have my share of fill from a native chicken. That chicken which is naturally raised and eats lots of grass, herbs and insects. When I get that vacation to the hometown, I will surely have my fill of that type of chicken again. I always look forward to it. I already called my brother and asked as to how many chickens we can probably be cooking upon my arrival. lol.

Oh, I didn't know bullfrogs are also cooked as food. I think someone told me they're poisonous. Not to mention scary because they're huge. Maybe there's a way to prepare them so that they will be edible?

My brother was famous for looking out for exotic stuff. Once he brought home something and told us it was chicken legs. They tasted good and after we had eaten he told us they were frogs legs. That was the last time I had frogs legs!

My brother always teased us. Once we had cockles for dinner which are normally served with their shells on. I had to get up from my table for something while I was eating and in that time he had picked all the meat from the cockles on my plate and only left the shells there. We all loved him actually for that. Frogs and me? No thanks.

I never ate the snail, but I might have a try if i have the chance. The bamboo shoot is very common vegetable in China, especailly in the southern part in Spring. I like it very much. When I was very young, I ate the snake and frog, but I won't eat the snake anymore. As for the frog, might try.
