I came to see one night,
and saw the chapters of my life.
Stopped at the point of meeting you,
how i felt those feelings new.
I thought it ended there,
but it started a one-sided love affair,
you didn't know i was loving you
with my heart's glow.
I wondered why my heart beat for you,
just like a mistle toe,
it bursted there,
revealing magnificent colors i can only glare.
Minutes seemed eternity with you around,
with your presence blue skies would abound.
And on a falling star i wished that you,
would somehow feel the way I do.
Woke up with a tear one day,
that i molded hypocrisy of clay,
chose to look your way,
only to chase my blues away.
There's no use dreaming of you,
with my heart aches long overdue,
I know somewhere, someone, somehow who's worthy of my love so true,
and maybe its not you.
A poem made out of the abundance of my heart a few years ago ( college years)..., a poem made not for a boyfriend, not for an ex lover, but for a crush,...he was just a classmate not formally introduced, i dont even know he if he knows i existed hehehehehe. It was I guess part of growing up and a point in my life that I have felt I was in love. Call it infatuation or or something else, one thing I know it felt good, its something that makes you smile. Now I realized that I was just in love with the thought of falling in love.

goose bumps and butterflies on my stomach and all the nice cute feeling of being in love. It was something i look forward to every day, watching him from afar, sitting on that corner of the library, and when i go home many times we would sit together in silence with the song out of the blue.

Awww... it's so sweet and sad!!! I love your poem! We really get so creative when we're in love, right?? 
Maybe you were just in love with the thought of falling in love, still, it's love. 
But I really like your poem, I remember the days I fell in love with someone who couldn't respond to my feelings. Well, he wanted to but in a not so proper way. 
There's no use dreaming of you, with my heartaches long overdue, I know somewhere, someone, somehow who's worthy of my love so true, and maybe it's not you. I love it! ^^

im just glad you love it, i made that some 15 years ago. For a crush in college. He is now married and my two year boyfriend is his best friend in college. what a coincidence. It started with a stare and ended like a bitter sweet refrain.

i dont know if its real love, but he has an eight year old son with previous live in partner but in dont judge him. I accepted him the way he is. Things were different when we were in college, but i encouraged him to continue and love the lord all the more and serve him with the talents god has given him.

Ohhhhh, first love, can we call it first love?
Well, people discovers their hidden talent when they gets their fisrt love or crush.
But what a lovely poem it is. I almost had tears in my eyes reading it. Beautiful, as it was said in the movie 'Kingkong'.

well, its not first love, but maybe love at first eye to eye. he took my breath away, the way he stared at me lingered on and i have never forgotten that stare, it was so long ago. Now he is married and with two kids and me on the other hand is still very single but have a never, his best friend in college.
