Hello mylotters, I know there are a lot of online shops nowadays. Facebook has a lot of online shops that sells cosmetics, jewelries, clothes, shoes, bags, supplements and other things. Multiply is another site that has converted itself into an online shopping center. I myself have my own shop on both sites. But do you think selling fragrances online would be possible, especially if it is a new product? Would you actually buy a fragrance online without even smelling it first but it is endorsed by a popular figure?

I do not like fragrance. According to the reliable source that I read, that fragrance is one factor exacerbating the ozone layer. I'm afraid that the earth getting warmer because direct sunlight without going through the layer. I also do not to aggravate the the situation because of our bad behavior. I did not intend to break the spirits of your business, but that's the way it is. Sorry. Have a nice day. Good Luck

Hello sijabatnaburjut! Thanks for your response and you didn't break my spirit in business so you don't have to say sorry. It's your opinion and I respect that. Anyway, part of it is true. As perfumes and fragrances can even harm our own body.

There sure are so many online shops nowadays. I think selling fragrances online is possible. I have seen some on facebook who have already started on that. For me, I don't really buy fragrances online. I usually buy it on stores. But for others, I think people will buy that even though it is a new product just as long as the endorser is popular. Most people these days buy something just because it is being used by a popular figure.

I have not tried yet buying things on line. I think if anyone would like to buy fragrances, cosmetics and the likes on line, she/he must have tried it or knew that they can save a bit knowing the current price in the market. Because I think that products for sale on line are lesser in price when you will buy it at the mall. By the way good luck on your business on line.

I don't tend to buy fragrances but buying perfume online is a bit risky for the buyer. What if you're not satisfied of the fragrance. That's the problem with online shopping, you can never actually touch the product to see if it is in good conditions and has good quality. You can't test or try it on either if it's clothing so there's a risky chance that no one would want to buy fragrances. Unless the fragrance is highly popular and has a famous brand then people would likely buy it. It's kinda hard to sell a new fragrance that you've just released onto the market but it wouldn't hurt to give it a shot. Make sure you produce a very good description and list what the fragrance is actually of and possible ingredients in order to reassure the buyer. List it in your shop, you never know you might attract a crowd.

It is very populary that shopping is online, I and my friends shop online,we often buy the electronic production such as telephone, camera, watch and so on.when we want to buy something, first,we care about the quality and quantity of production, the customer's evaluation.and then we will decide weather to buy ot not.the brand fragrances is sold online, but you must have a risk, the price is important to people,so you must choose the reasonable price that people can accept.

Hi red_amethyst, it's sad that I have a rather sensitive nose. Due to this I'm quite picky in choosing fragrance. I would get fragrances with faint and natural smell that suit my taste only for I would feel comfortable to apply them when I use it. Yeah, I have to be very careful especially when picking new product, even it's a new product from the same brand I have been using for long For safety purpose I dare not get any from online shops as I only purchase fragrance after smelling it Happy posting

Very good that you have your own shop online too. Online business is becoming a good way of making earning online. For fragrances, if the brand is a welknown brand, people might buy online, provided the price is competitive. If it is a very new brand, people might think twice.

I don't think that I would do this. I am very fussy about my fragrances and want to make sure I like the smell before I buy.

Online shopping is a trend nowadays due to busyness of people. Especially those ones who were working at night, they prefer online shopping and it is more convenient as well. I've tried shopping fragrances online and I am satisfied with it. I believed that those people posting their products online tried their best to impress their customers, because satisfied customers made their business alive. have a good day

Hi Red, I had an experience buying frangrance online but i was upset because it's not original. i know the scent is different from the original ones that i had. If you have already an online shop you can include fragrance in your line up of products. Good luck friend.

Hi, if that is a brand new to you and you haven't tested it yet, then you can't just rely on how the fragrance has been described online.. But let's say it is something you have tried and tested, then probably that is fine.. At least you know what exactly is the fragrance and you chose it.. I myself don't like to shop online... It is not my thing...

I think a new product might be a little risky, especially if it's something you (as a seller) have to invest in. I personally would not buy a perfume online without being familiar with it and I dont know of anyone that would. However, if its something thats more established and at a good price you should do fairly well... I know I wouldnt hesitate to buy a perfume I like online if it's at a reasonable price.

I do, but only the scents I am already familiar with. I would really have to smell it before buying it. I do purchase some on Ebay and more recently there are lots of sellers on Facebook so I'm checking them out as well.

my wife and her friends also sell on line. and i guess it is okay. but i am not sure if it is okay to buy internationally. i guess liquid is one of the no nos in shipping. i would like to buy my wife Silences on ebay but i am sure that shipping will cost a lot. you have a point of the people might not pay big attention with new products for they still need to smell it. but if it came from a popular line then i dont think there would be a problem.

It is possible to sell fragrances online. I know some shops online that sell fragrances. Most people want to buy the famous brand fragances online with a cheaper price. Because those fragances are very expensive in the Boutique. If you can guarantee your fragarances are authentic and sell them with low prices, you will have a lot of customers.
